Setting off from Reykjavik, our journey takes us to Raufarhólshellir, a significant lava tunnel in Iceland. Here, an expert guide will impart knowledge about the stunning hues and geological structures present within.
Following a 60-minute exploration of the tunnel, we will venture towards the stunning Reykjanes Peninsula, home to the Reykjanes Geopark - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This geological marvel of Iceland is a hotbed of geothermal energy, seismic occurrences, and tectonic shifts.
Our journey will see us visiting the picturesque Kleifarvatn and Grænavatn lakes, Krýsuvík’s multicolored hills, and the geothermal regions of Seltún and Gunnuhver, which boast hot spring and mud pools amongst other attractions.
The trip includes a halt at the Blue Lagoon. Here, you have the freedom to walk around and capture memories, or sip a coffee at the cafe with the blue pool in the background. If you’d prefer, you can immerse yourself in the warm lagoon for a relaxing soak, enjoy a drink, or apply a soothing silica mask. (Please note, entrance tickets are not included in the tour price and should be booked beforehand)
