It offers an ideal environment for an introductory ice climbing adventure, featuring easily accessible, shallow vertical ice walls perfect for beginners and intermediate climbers.
This is a fundamental ice climbing session, concentrating on lower-angle walls and heights exceeding 50 feet. All systems utilize top anchor setups, which our guides will prepare in just a few minutes. Once the anchors and ropes are ready, your guide will equip you with a harness, review safety protocols, and explain the basics of climbing before you begin your ascent!
To access the climbing areas, you’ll embark on a challenging hike from the vehicle parking lot. The trail traverses the rocky moraine and leads you past the glacier’s front face, all the way to the seldom-explored backcountry.
