This Ayutthaya tour begins with a prompt pick-up from your hotel within selected areas. Upon arrival at the meeting point, prepare for an exciting biking adventure. Once ready, our Ayutthaya biking tour will commence, starting with our first destination, Wat Mahathat.

  • Wat Mahathat - One of the most fascinating historical sites in the country, Wat Mahathat is a famous Buddhist temple.

Wat Mahathat, built in the 13th century, is one of the oldest and most significant temples in Ayutthaya’s history as it housed the Buddha’s holy relic.

  • Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon - One of the most important temples in Ayutthaya, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon boasts a long and illustrious history. Unlike many other ancient sites in Ayutthaya, this is still an active temple where monks reside. Thai people visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon to pay respects to Buddha and to honor one of the most revered kings in Thai history, King Naresuan the Great.
  • Wat Phra Sri Sanphet - The distinctive pagodas of Wat Phra Si Sanphet are among the most famous sights in Ayutthaya. Much like the iconic Buddha head in tree roots at nearby Wat Phra Mahathat, images of this historic temple adorn many postcards and travel books sold in Ayutthaya.
  • Temple of the Reclining Buddha (Wat Lokayasutharam) - Although Wat Lokaya Sutha (also known as Wat Lokayasutharam) is not one of the most famous historic sites in Ayutthaya, it remains an impressive location to visit. This is largely due to the temple’s most striking feature, the giant reclining Buddha image. At 42 meters long and 8 meters high, the statue towers over the devotees who come here to make offerings.
  • Wat Phra Ram - The temple features a central Prang built in Khmer-style architecture, situated on a large square platform surrounded by many chedis (stupas). The main entrance is on the west side, although it was initially an east-facing temple. There are two halls on either side of the Prang. The sanctuary of the temple houses many ruined statues of Buddha. Though much of the temple is destroyed, it speaks volumes about the glory of this kingdom.
  • Bangkok - As this wonderful Ayutthaya tour concludes, we’ll return to the meeting point and transfer you back to your hotel.
