- Go Ride A Wave Surfers Paradise - We meet at our shop in Cavill Avenue next to Hungry Jacks in the heart of Surfers Paradise 15 minutes before the lesson begins. We provide a long sleeved rash/sun shirt and select the correct size soft beginner surf board and walk to the beach. We begin with a safety talk and some basic instruction and catch our first few waves in waist deep water. Then we return to the beach for more detailed instruction about how to stand up on your surf board. We spend the rest of the lesson in the water with the instructor assisting everyone to stand up on their surf board.

Learn to surf at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast in Queensland, one of Australia’s most iconic surf destinations. With its warm waters and golden beach that streches for 1.9 miles (3 km), Surfers Paradise is the place to learn to surf. You’ll learn to surf in waist deep water with fully qualified surf instructors who are also surf life savers. Soft beginner surf board and rash vests or wetsuit are included.

Best surf experience ! - Staff were very friendly and professional but also extremely personable. Best surfing experience of my life. Loved every minute and instructor was very helpful and funny. Highly recommend Go Ride a Wave. You won’t regret it!

Great coaches, fun lesson! - Cal and Tren were awesome coaches. Their instructions were super clear, the lesson was fun, safe and great for all levels. As someone who has never stepped on a surf board before, I was standing up in no time before the end of the lesson. Highly recommend checking them out!

Really fun - It's been a really fun lesson. Stella, Thomas and Carl were nice, friendly and ready to help. They taught us the basics and bring us straight into the water to start to practice and have fun!

Fun at Surfers - The guys were very helpful, friendly and explained things well. I was an oldie amongst younger people, Trent soon recognised that I should do things differently and gave me time to try and learn.

Amazing surfing lessons - It was an amazing experience. Blake and Yas were fantastic coaches. They gave us really helpful tips and midway through the lesson almost every body was up on the board. 10/10 would recommend to a friend. I went solo and I had loads of fun 😊.

Great lesson with a great instructor - Really enjoyed this lesson. Trent was a really good instructor and helped everyone individually to tell them how to improve their technique. The teaching was clear and I found the surfing really fun.

Excellent surf lesson - Best surf lesson we have ever had. We are a family from the UK with 8 and 9 year-old boys. We've done a few surf lessons in other places but the instruction was second-to-none. Cal and Blake were excellent and we all had a great time. Highly recommended and we would certainly book again. The photos were also an excellent addition.
