Highlights
- Surabaya - Our driver and guide will come to get you from your hotel in Surabaya or Malang city at about 11:45 PM. Then, we’ll take you to Mount Bromo in Sukapura. When you reach there, you’ll switch to a special jeep and head to Sunrise View Point. Our guide will be with you.
- Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park - Sunrise View Point is the best place to watch the sun come up. The weather is cool, around 7-10 degrees Celsius. If you want to stay warm, you can find many small shops along the way selling noodles, corn, coffee, and tea.
After you’ve seen the sunrise over Bromo, go back to the jeep and drive down to the Bromo Crater. The driver will leave you about 2 kilometers away from the crater. Local people on horses will come up to meet you and offer you a ride on a horse to the crater. Walking across the sandy area to reach the crater’s edge takes about 45 minutes. Then, it’s a short 15-minute climb up some stairs to get to the top of Bromo Crater.
- Madakaripura Waterfall - After you climb up Mount Bromo, you’ll come back to Sukapura for breakfast at a nearby restaurant. Then, you’ll go to the stunning Madakaripura Waterfall. There, you can enjoy the view of the lovely water falling down from the rocks.
- Malang - Once you’ve enjoyed your time at Madakaripura Waterfall, we’ll take you back to where you started in Surabaya. If your next destination is Malang, we can also drop you off at your hotel there for free. The tour finishes at about 1:30 p.m.

- This tour is not a good idea for kids who are younger than 2 years old.

Excellent Mt Bromo tour. - Advanture and enjoyable tour package for my family trip. We were guided with an experience and hospitality tour guide.

Great expiriance and amazing view - All the communication was done through WhatsApp with no problems.
We got picked up just before midnight at the train station in Surabaya as agreed by our guide Via and our driver.
It took us 2 hours to get to the point where we swapped the car for the jeep. Since we got there early we waited at the little bar with some coffee /tea and fried bananas :)
The hike took us about 10 minutes to the point where the magic almost happened. Unfortunately, we didn't see the sunrise as we planned but you can't do anything about the weather. We were just happy it didn't rain since we were in the middle of the rainy season. The view was still amazing afterward.
After that, we went for a short drive and walk before climbing 250 stairs to Mt. Bromo crater. The place was not that busy so we were happy about that.
We were served breakfast at the local restaurant and after that, it was time to head towards the waterfall.
The crew (Budi, Via and the 2 drivers) were all great so I would recommend this company for your next Mt. Bromo tour.

Fantastic volcano and waterfalls - As a woman traveling alone, Alvina was a perfect companion. She was supportive and professional and well informed. Her drivers were excellent and friendly. The volcano and waterfalls were truly spectacular. The trip of a life time. I had the perfect tour guides that accomodated for my every need.

Perfect from start to finish ! - Everything was perfect. This experience ranks among the most beautiful of our travels. Nadal, our guide, was incredibly attentive from start to finish. He led us to hidden gems for stunning photos. But that's not all; he answered all our questions, not only about the magnificent landscapes but also about Indonesia, its culture, and its people. We can only recommend this experience. The waterfalls were also a highlight of our trip, with excellent organization, amazing photos, and breathtaking cascades! Don't hesitate – you won't be disappointed!

Morning sunrise with a view! - We had the most amazing tour guide named Didi. She truly made our experience that much more special, as seeing Mt Bromo in its entirety is an eye opening experience as is. Not only did Didi and her team know the best sunrise locations, but she guided us up the crater to the edge of the volcano and took photos of me and my friends. Her rich knowledge on the site’s history, cultural traditions, volcanic rocks, and all round good humour helped make my 40th birthday occasion even memorable. Highly recommend!

Best guide for Bromo & Madakaripura tour - We book this tour for 3 adults. At midnight our tour guide Seyla & the driver Ricky picked us up at the hotel in Surabaya. We reached Bromo at 2am & was transfer to a Jeep ride to “Love Hill” sunrise view point. Our tour guide bought us coffee & snack while waiting for the sunrise. We really enjoy having Seyla as our tour guide. Not only she speak good English she is also a good photographer. She plan & time our movement efficiently so we are able to avoid the crowd. From the sunrise viewpoint we start our journey to Mount Bromo. Happy we took the option to go on the horse to the foot of Mt. Bromo, it save our energy to climb Mt. Bromo. Seyla has advised us not to stay to long at the crater as the sulfur smell is not good for health. The sulfur smell is really bad!
Seyla brought us to one of the available accommodations in Bromo for breakfast & after breakfast we proceed to Madakaripura waterfall. The Madakaripura waterfall is must visit place. We drove back to Surabaya at 1230 & reached the hotel at 2.30pm. The trip is the highlight of our visit to Surabaya. I highly recommend this tour for those who have limited time in Surabaya. Worth all the money spend. Our appreciation to Seyla for the enjoyable trip and all those lovely photos as our keepsake.

Incredible day - We had the most amazing day! What an experience from start to finish, I can’t believe how much we did in a day. Mount Bromo was beautiful, the crater walk intense, and Madakaripura is the best waterfall I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot. Bring your suimsuits! Our guide Afif was incredible, able to answer all our questions, give us interesting facts, kept us safe, and helped make sure the trip was memorable! Can’t have asked for a better guide, thanks Afif!

Mount bromo and waterfall tour feedback - Our guide Afif was amazing, communicated with us before picking us up and brought us to the Mount bromo tour where he carefully led us up the mountain to get a good photo spot. He also helped us take alot of nice and amazing photos!!! After catching the sunrise we then proceeded to visit the waterfall and he has been very attentive and always constantly updating us on the shedule and where we were going. He also offered to help us carry our things and when I was too tired to climb, he offered me assistance. Afif is Truly an amazing guide which made this tour experience a 10/10.

Amazing Bromo tour! - The tour on Bromo is amazing, the guides are kind and very helpful as the drivers of the cars.
I recommended the tour to everyone.
The only sore point is the waterfalls.

in all a very good team…..
but a terrible jeep like taken from the junkjard.
Under power you smell the Diesel and the exhaust in the cabin
