One of the best activities you can do - What an amazing hike! We had the best weather and the pictures we took were out of this world really. The time allocation was perfect to finish the hike and get some food and coffee afterwards. Thanks to Pedro for taking us, who was not only a really patient driver but also had so many interesting things to tell us about Madeira. Pedro’s stories about other places to visit in Madeira (and neighbouring islands) inspired us to come back again. Couldn’t ask for a better way to end our trip in Madeira!

Another 5* experience with Do It Madeira - We have just returned from Madeira and used 'Do it Madeira' for 2 Levada walks this time. After using them last September there was no alternative but to use them again! We wanted self guided walks, with a competitive price and Logan and Felipe offer this but also with an amazing personable service. Their communication about the pick up and details needed was WhatsAppd the evening before. The journey to the walk and back was filled with lots of tourist information from Felipe and Pedro. We even had an additional free of charge stop on the way back to see a waterfall and a glass viewing platform extending over the cliff edge into th sea. We have used them 3 times now and we feel like we are good friends and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or recommend them 🤗

Great hike: made special by a wonderful tour guide - Wonderful excursion to complete the famous PR1 Hike. We were picked up and dropped off by Felipe, who was a 10/10 host. He was able to share tips on best spots for photos, interesting facts about Madeira and overall made us feel looked after. Once we completed the hike, Felipe was able to travel back via some traditional Madeiran houses and a glass look out point - all additional to what we had booked. Overall we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for being the best tour guide in Madeira! Ps. The hike was intermediate to challenging. You are given ample time to complete but worth knowing in advance that it is mostly steps, both uphill and downhill. I would recommend layers for this hike as it started off at 0 degrees (really!!!) but warmed up in the first mile. I would also recommend snacks and water (we packed nuts, fruit and bread), suncream, sunglasses, gloves, a buff or equivalent to block out the windchill, etc. Don't be afraid to take breaks, everyone we saw on the hike did! We walked at a very leisurely pace, stopped multiple times for rest breaks, food and photos and found we had about an hour to explore the other peak and use the toilets etc. I hope this review is helpful!

Well organised and friendly - This experience was excellent from the minute we were picked up to the minute we were dropped off. It was well organised, informative and easy to follow. Our driver,Filipe was charming, very friendly and provided us with all the information we needed on the way to the mountain and even gave us a mini tour on the way back to our hotel. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone interested in taking a hike across the two peaks.

Must do in Madeira! - Absolutely amazing trek. Our driver and guide Filipe was amazing. He was energetic and had lots of tips and advice for both the trek and Maderia overall. He was so pleasant and got us all pumped for what was a very early pick up for sunrise. Highly recommend the hike and this company!

Highlight of our trip to Madeira - The hike was amazing as was our experience with Do It Madeira. Logan was super communicative before the hike with pick up details, a list of items to bring, weather forecast, etc. and even helped to reschedule our booking date as the trail we wanted to take, PR 1, was closed on our original date. Our driver Pedro was awesome as well. We were collected right on time, the drive was smooth, and Pedro shared so many facts and stories about Madeira while in transit. We would certainly book with Do It Madeira again. Thanks for the great experience :)
