Additional Information
After we pick you up from your Johannesburg hotel or residence between 06:00 - 06:30, we set out for the Pilanesberg Nature Park.
We anticipate reaching Pilanesberg Park at about 9am, at which point we’ll embark on our first open vehicle safari drive (approximately 3 hours), exploring the array of wildlife residing within the National Park. From 12 pm until 1 pm, we’ll pause for lunch at Pilanesberg Center located in the heart of the park, where you can enjoy a picturesque view of a waterhole. Lunch concluded, we resume our wildlife adventure with our second Open Safari Drive (around 2 hours), aiming to exit the park around 15:30 and arrive back in Johannesburg between 17:30 to 18:00.

Great for safari novices - This is a nicely packaged 1 day activity for safari enthusiasts or novices. We were able to see various exotic animals including zebras, kundus, hippopotamus, rhinos, a cobra, and a leopard. Not too many cats. But you get what you paid for. Great activity overall.

Great experience - Great experience for those who are short on time. Elephants, girafes, hippos, rhinos... And even leopards.

First Time Safari-Very Nice experience Overall - The tour was overall very good. Our tour guide Lejoy/Letabho is a very knowledgeable person. He educated us all for sure and provided very interesting facts about the animals. He also did his best to spot animals for us. Our transfer person (Irvin) was very entertaining as well. I appreciate the pickup/drop off from the hotel from Pretoria. The lunch was good as well. It was amazing to see so many elephants, giraffe, wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, kudus, rhinos. We spotted two lions at a distance, but I wish it would be a closer experience. No buffalo, which was a little disappointing. But overall definitely worth it. Lastly, while I was traveling solo the rest of the team (A-Team) was very friendly and had a great time. Thank you MoAfrika.

Brilliant day with the guide Petrus in Pilanesberg! - Very knowledgeable about the National Park with all animals and plants. He taught us a lot in a very friendly and entertaining way. Can for sure recommend a tour with Petrus!

Safari Tour - It was amazing experience, our tour guide Petrus was the best. He was so funny and tried to make us feel comfortable. He was very informative about all the animals that we saw. I recommend MoAfrica Tours when you’re looking for some activities in SA. I used their services twice and it was the best option for a solo traveler like me.

Excellent experience! - My daughter & I went on Pilanesberg Safari and had an amazing time . Appreciated our guide Sunny for driving us safely to and from the park. Also much appreciation to our safari guide Tiaan for sharing is expertise and allowing us to capture our unique wildlife photos. Must add also lunch was good.
Will definitely recommend MoAfrica Tours to my family & friends and use their services again InshaAllah.

Safari closest to Johannesburg - Great group to travel with. You have to be lucky. Nice park, but don't compare it with Kruger; less animals and less variety. I got picked up first, and then you may be unlucky; too much time in the car, back and forth from hotel, park, hotel

Great Day! - The overall experience was great! The best part was watching the elephants. We had a great tour guide Tain, who displayed a care and knowledge for the animals. Our transportation driver Alex, also should great care and was very knowledgeable about the area and history.

It was a good experience! - The service delivered what it promised (punctuality, good vehicle, cordiality and professionalism), but, as in every safari, the animals do not always cooperate, in other words: they are not where they should be and do not pose for photos. Haha ha
It was a good experience, but it doesn't compare to the safari in Kruger Park. So..., if you can go to Kruger Park, don't miss the opportunity.
