- All visitors must drive safely during tour Visitors must bring one of the following forms of driving documentation; [1] Foreign driving license with and an international driving permit (IDP). Please note the IDP must be issued from within your own country by the respected issuing authority and under the geneva convention 1949. [2] Foreign driving license (issued in Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Slovenia or Monaco) with Japanese translation by authorized organization and also passport.

Please follow the address for Japankart in maps, the closest landmark to our shop is the Asahi beer headquarters. Its roughly 2-3 minute walk from there. There will be a signage on our front door "JAPANKART Go Kart Tokyo Tour".

Go-karting through Tokyo at night is even more fun than it sounds - Kind of hard to believe the Tokyo authorities even allow this to happen, so make sure you experience it before they wise up and shut it down.
This was such a brilliant laugh, JapanKarts are a very professional outfit with a detailed (but not boring) briefing, fantastic Karts in almost new condition, and a well thought out itinerary.
We did our tour at 5pm as it was starting to get dark, and loved every minute of it. This is not just a tour of back streets or the outer suburbs, JapanKart take you right through the heart of the Tokyo city centre - driving through Ginza in a go kart at nighttime is one of our great holiday experiences.
Definitely worth the money to do this amazing tour.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience. The tour guides are kind enough to take photo's and videos throughout the tour. You get to visit te most beautiful spots in Tokyo!

Great fun. Very safe! - Awesome fun and very professionally run. We were 3 in a group of 10 karts, and the 2 staff members were in minivans at the head and tail of the group.
The staff managed to control the pace well and kept us all together almost all of the time. We only had to wait a couple of times when the group was split at traffic lights. Given the size of the group I was very impressed! The route took us through many famous areas of East Tokyo and the Bay area, and we had a few stops for photo opportunities. Everyone loved it! I will be doing this again in March with other family members who will be visiting.

Great way to see Tokyo! - My partner and I had so much fun doing this! Staff were super friendly and helpful, and really made us feel safe. Definitely recommend doing this - it's a great way to see such a huge city. It feels so silly wearing the costumes but to be honest, they really help you keep warm and the general public seems to get a good chuckle from it :)
