- Puseh Batuan Temple - Our driver will pick you up at your accommodationâs lobby at 08.30 and we’ll start our journey with a visit to Batuan Temple. The site also features a grand complex of shrines laid out within its 0.65 Ha area.
- Tegenungan Waterfall - Our next stop at Tegenungan Waterfall You can pose for photos or even take a dip in the clean, freshwater pool constantly supplied by the gushing fall. There is a small wooden bridge across the stream that gives you access to more stairs if you desire to climb up to the top of the falls and peek over the edge.
- Kintamani Highland - Then, we drive up to Kintamani Volcano. It is a popular tourist attraction in the central highlands of Bali. Kintamani Volcano is the islandâs only district that doesnât have a shoreline. Surrounded by the captivating Batur range, the volcano and range are known collectively as Mount Batur. An active volcano, Kintamaniâs main attraction.
- Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Our final stop is Tegalalang Village which has the most beautiful views of rice fields amidst lush greenery. Meet our local farmers who are planting, harvesting and cleaning the terrace area, then learn about the “Subak”/traditional irrigation system that they always maintain to get good harvests. Here you can do Jungle Swings & Zip Lines with views of rice fields hanging between two coconut trees. The view overlooks beautiful rice fields and it is not surprising that this place is an attractive tourist spot.

Enjoyed the outskirts of Ubud - This course included all the places I wanted to go. In addition, our guide, Dama, understood my requests despite my poor English, took breaks that were not on the itinerary during long trips, and let me take my time to see things as I pleased, and proceeded with the tour at my own pace from start to finish. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy the whole day.

Best Day to Batur Trip - Dama is an excellent guide, he stopped at all the shops that we wanted to look in, and was very informative.
You can have a set day tour or do what we did and head off for a day of mystery.
I loved our day, our lunch was amazing, traditional Bali food and the perfect end of the day was a drink overlooking the Batur Mountain, simply stunning.
