Highlights
  • Celuk Village - We will start by picking you up at your hotel and head to Celuk Village, which is about a 1-hour drive away. Along the way, we’ll pass through Ubud Art Village, including stops at Celuk Village for fine silver jewelry, Batubulan Village for batik, Mas Village for exquisite woodcarving, and other painting crafts. We’ll spend approximately 1 hour here.
  • Puri Saren Palace - Next, we’ll drive for 30 minutes to reach Ubud Royal Palace, also known as Saren Agung Palace. This historical site in Ubud, Gianyar, Bali, is a must-see for its beauty, history, and uniqueness. Built in the 8th century by the religious leader Rsi Markendaya, the palace is near the city center and the art market, which was established by Ida Tjokorda Putu Kandel between 1800 and 1823. The Ubud market remains a symbol of the local economy. With over a hundred years of royal history, Ubud Royal Palace is highly recommended for visitors to Bali. We’ll spend 30 minutes here.
  • Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary - We’ll then head to Ubud Monkey Forest, a 30-minute drive away. Also known as Ubud Wanara Wana, this small forest in Ubud Village is the natural habitat for monkeys and is considered sacred due to the Hindu temple within it. Visitors can enjoy the lush greenery and various animals, including birds. It’s important not to disturb the monkeys, avoid carrying food, wearing hats, or making sudden movements to prevent any aggressive behavior from the monkeys. We’ll spend 30 minutes here.
  • Kintamani Highland - Next, we’ll drive for 1 hour to reach Kintamani Village, located under the Mount Batur caldera. This area is popular for its stunning scenery and cool, fresh air, making it a great spot for a short trip and lunch. Kintamani’s main attractions include Batur Natural Hot Spring in Toya Bungkah Village, Mount Batur, and Lake Batur in Penelokan Village. Many restaurants here offer buffet lunches featuring local cuisine. We’ll spend about 1 hour here.
  • Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Afterward, we’ll drive for 30 minutes to Tegalalang Rice Terrace, a favorite tourist destination near Ubud. This beautiful rice terrace offers a refreshing view of Bali’s countryside. The stepped landscape is based on the traditional Balinese “subak” irrigation system, used for centuries. Located on a hill bank, Tegalalang Rice Terrace is one of the most photographed landscapes in Bali. We’ll spend 30 minutes here.
  • Tirta Empul Temple - Finally, we’ll drive for 30 minutes to Tirta Empul Temple, one of Indonesia’s largest temples dedicated to Vishnu. The temple, built in 1954, features holy water springs believed to cure illnesses and bad luck. Visitors must adhere to a dress code, including wearing a sarong, which can be rented at the entrance. An entrance fee is required. We’ll spend 30 minutes here before driving 2 hours to return you to your hotel.
