Best experience on my trip! - One of my favourite experiences in Japan. Andy is a really great guide and helped explain a lot about life in Tokyo and Japan. Biking through the city was amazing and fun. The food we sampled was also great. Highly recommended

Bike tour of "authentic" Tokyo with a most informative, English-speaking guide - This was a highlight on our visit to Tokyo. If you are looking for an opportunity to discover the neighbourhoods of the west side of Tokyo and try out delicious street food like a local, then this tour is perfect for you! Travelling on virtually flat terrain, you will cycle on both quiet, narrow and busier streets, while Andy tells stories of life in Tokyo. The ride is about 16 km on a cruiser bicycle, so you’ll want to be comfortable cycling this distance. Note that you will not be visiting the typical tourist highlights on this tour. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an authentic way to visit Tokyo!

A Great Experience - My family (including an 11 year old) loved this tour. Andy was a wonderful host, friendly and knowledgeable, and full of information about the areas we cycled around. As regular visitors to Tokyo we're always looking for new experiences, and Andy's tour provided a new perspective on an area we weren't familiar with. He also followed up the tour with an email full of other recommendations of things to do. Highly recommended.

Awesome & fun Bike tour - This was one of the best things we did on our stay in Tokyo! Highly recommend doing this at the start of your trip, Andy is a fun & friendly guy, who explains a lot about Japanese daily life in Tokyo. Andy gives clear directions to the meeting point & is very responsive with the online booking. Really enjoyed the food on the tour as well. Congratulations Andy, you do it well! Fantastic tour with Andy - Our family of 4 (children age 13 & 11) had a fantastic tour with Andy. Exploring local neighbourhoods allowed us to see a different side of Tokyo. Lunch at a local stand up noodle bar was a real highlight (fun & super yummy!!). Would recommend this tour without hesitation to anyone wanting to see the real Tokyo.

Bike and Bites around Tokyo - We had a wonderful time touring around Tokyo with Andy. We enjoyed seeing a different side of Tokyo. We did tourist attractions but what we really liked about this tour is we got to see and learn about how the residents live. We were able to meet some and everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Also sampling the different foods was a treat. We went to places we might not have found out about. We also passed the bike parking test. This is a 10 out of 10 tour. Highly recommend for anyone that wants to do something off the beaten path to learn more about what life is like in Tokyo.

Amazing introduction to Japan - First day in Tokyo and the bike ride with Andy was the perfect way to start our trip. Roding the bikes through quaint streets was awesome in itself, and the food was great, but what really made it special was Andy sharing so much interesting information about how the Japanese live, work and play. It set the bar so high for the rest of our trip and I know it will be a highlight. As long as you can ride a bike I highly recommend booking this experience. There is nothing like getting off the beaten track. It even rained for part of our ride and the kids didn’t complain once which is a first!

Eleven stars! Best thing we did in Tokyo! - Absolutely the highlight of our Tokyo visit. Highly recommend this Cycling and Food tour for anyone looking for something just slightly off the heavily-trodden tourist track. Andy is a gem- friendly, expert and engaging. A few stops west of Shinjuku, the Koenji and Nakano suburbs are the places we will head to immediately on our next trip. Every street and lane way was a treasure, each pause at a place of interest was fascinating, and every food stop was delicious and generous. The bikes were a pleasure to ride, and for our family, including two teenagers, this tour was easily everyone’s favourite Tokyo memory. Great value and an unforgettable experience.Thank you Andy.

Outstanding and quiet tour - This was phenomenal. Really laid back tour packed with lots of inside info on what it's like to live in Tokyo. It's on the quieter side, so a nice complement to all of the big touristy activities.
