Highlights
  • Cave Point County Park - Pristine limestone caves abound both above and underneath the water! Cruise by the fantastic Door County coastline of undercut limestone and submerged sea caves. Complete with access to hiking trails, swimming and cliff jumping.
  • Whitefish Dunes State Park - Stop and check out the tallest dunes in Wisconsin located just south of Cave Point! Access to mile and half long beach and hiking trails.
  • Jacksonport - We start our tour here! Situated along the Lake Michigan shoreline, this quaint community offers a variety of fun and exciting activities. Experience our sandy beaches and rocky shoreline cliffs. Hike on peaceful trails and bike on quiet back roads, or enjoy our celebrations and festivals that add a bit of pizzazz to the otherwise laid back and relaxing atmosphere that is Jacksonport.

Originally a bustling logging and fishing village, Jacksonport is now the year round home to approximately 750 residents as well as many more that call Jacksonport their tranquil escape for the entire summer, a week or perhaps just a few days.

Additional Information

Join one of our trained guides for a trip to Cave Point and Whitefish Dunes. They are experienced in ensuring the tour is safe, interesting, and informative. Because we’re located so close to Cave Point, the majority of our time is spent on the water, rather than traveling there. You’ll be provided with a paddle and a safety briefing at the boat launch, before setting off on a two-hour paddle through some of the Midwest’s most beautiful scenery. We’re an easy drive away, whether you’re coming from Sturgeon Bay to the south, Bailey’s Harbor to the north, or Egg Harbor, Sister Bay, Fish Creek, and Ephraim in the upper peninsula!

Cave point kayak tour Jacksonport - Awesome experience, made even better since they allow dogs on their cave point kayak tours. Sophie was a fun guide and accommodated everyone. Weather was stellar. Top notch tour choice!!

First time Kayaking? Do this! - This was a great experience. I was with my 12-year-old daughter and it was the first time kayaking for both of us. Our tour guide, Gordon, was very nice and took the time to explain what we needed to know. He also checked on us during the tour to make sure we were doing ok. He also took the time to give us recommendation on things to do while at Door county, which was great because it was also our first time in Door County. I highly recommend Gordon and the company in general.

Kaylee Rocks! - Kaylee was a fun and informative guide for this great little paddle. Plenty of local color as well as the geography of the coast. Not a very private tour, there were probably 5 other tours on the lake with us. They had staggered starts, but still a lot more boats in the water than i expected. We were not there at peak season either. Meetup location is just to get life jackets and check in. Actual launch is a few minutes by van/bus. Not a lot around this site, but the tiki bar across the street had good food for after the workout. Had a little hiccup at the end when the van wasn't there to tote us back to the shop. Kayakers aren't generally folks that are in a hurry so it wasn't a big deal. There are significantly cheaper ways to book this same tour.
