Additional Information

Embark on a comprehensive full-day guided group excursion to Mostar and the Kravice waterfalls. Mostar, located on the Neretva River, ranks as the country’s fifth-largest city. It earned its name from the guardians (mostari) who historically protected the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over the Neretva in medieval times. Constructed in the 16th century by the Ottomans, the Old Bridge stands as one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most iconic structures, and signifies an outstanding example of Islamic architectural design in the Balkans. The breathtaking beauty of Kravice amazes all viewers; a cool, revitalizing mist shrouds the brilliance of a pristine water spectacle, which is definitely a sight to behold. As the day concludes, you’ll be escorted back to your accommodation.

Wonderful waterfalls and Mostar day trip from Dubrovnik (with Disco) - What a wonderful day we had, thanks to the wonderful organisation of the trip. We were met outside the hotel by the rep to ensure we we had everything we required for the trip, and to reassure the bus to collect us was on its way. Once on the coach, the drive (know. as Disco) proceeded to not only drive us to the waterfalls but entertain and inform us along the way. His knowledge of the region was amazing, and was told with lots of passion. Once at the waterfalls, we were allowed around an hour to relax and take photos, which was enough. They were simply stunning and a must-see. Then, on to Mostar, with more local knowledge being shared by the charismatic Disco. Mastar was a loey place, where we had around 3 hours to do as we pics. We went to the restaurant recommended by Disco and we were not disappointed, the oical food we tried was excellent. All in all, we had a fantastic day and really recommend it. Pete & Sue (UK)

A must go on trip if you are visiting Croatia - Josh was our driver for our trip and he was excellent. He was knowledgeable and taught us about the history in the area, accommodating and had a great sense of humor. The falls were magnificent and Mostar was such a nice town with great food, shopping and sightseeing. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Croatia.

Bosnia Herzegovina trip from Cavtat - I chose a semi private tour with laus travel as border crossing would be faster and it was, it took us 5 minutes to cross both ways compared to what could have been hours on a coach. Josh was excellent, he kept us informed with Croatian and Bosnian history on the way and gave us enough time to explore kravice waterfalls and mostar. Very happy I chose this tour and we got Josh to look after us. Highly recommend this trip, bring €10 for kravice waterfalls and cash for Mostar - euros will be fine. There are other scenic long walks around kravice but if you only have 1hr to explore and choose to take photos and grab a hot drink, it might not be enough time to allow that. The bar at kravice prefers cash. There's a mosque in Mostar and you can pay €7.5 to climb 90 steps or so to the top for a good view to take pics. It does have very narrow steep steps and no handrail. You can also walk around the mosque in a secluded place to get better shots of the famous bridge without fighting for a spot.

Fantastic day trip - This was a fantastic day out. A small mini bus with a well informed and entertaining driver (Disco). We stopped at Kravice falls on the journey out which meant we arrived before any crowds gathered and got time to enjoy the beautiful views pretty much unhindered. Mostar was incredible too, the bridge is an incredible construction and is very much the star of the show but plenty of other things to see including the Koshi Mehmed Pasha Mosque & Minaret from which, if you’re up to the climb, you’ll find great views. Trip was very well organised, and as mentioned earlier Disco is an excellent guide. Highly recommended.

Absolute MUST if you visit Croatia! - Fantastic tour with Josh!. Josh was a great driver with fantastic knowledge & a greta sense of humour - he also went out of his way with drop offs after the tour had finished. This is a MUST if you visit Croatia. Bosnia is such a beautiful country, the route is also largely scenic & takes around 2 hours but don't forget your passport for the border. The Waterfalls are magnificent & given the right weather you're more than welcome to take a swim. Into Mostar & this is a beautiful little town. Fantastic place for a spot of lunch, looking around the markets or take a walk down & sit next to the most beautiful blue river. The semi private tour was much better than a larger couch tour - there was only 6 of us. We also were timed to arrive shortly before most of the larger parties arrived which made such a difference.

Wonderful small group day trip - highly recommend! - This was a fantastic tour and I highly recommend it. The small group (6 people) made it easy to get to know others and we had a fun time together all day. Our guide was Max and he was really personable and full of interesting facts about Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because we arrived early at the border, we had no wait at all. We were also the first people at the Kravice Waterfalls in the morning and had them entirely to ourselves for an hour, which was quite magical. Max knows all the back roads and scenic shortcuts, so we saw smaller villages and incredible views as we made our way to Mostar, Max's hometown. There, we had nearly three hours on our own, which we easily filled by spending time at the river and bridge, visiting the tourist shops, and having lunch at Labirint, overlooking the bridge. This tour was very well run. I was picked up at my hotel promptly by a driver who took me to the van that would carry us into Bosnia and Herzegovina, and I was delivered back to my hotel at the end of the day. We stayed on schedule throughout the tour, and I thought it was just the right amount of time in all the places we went. This was the most interesting and delightful day tour I've taken in quite a while, and will definitely consider booking with Laus Travel again in the future, as a result. A big thanks to Max and the Laus team in Dubrovnik!
