Fjord kayaking - wonderful - just do it! - The fjord kayaking was a great choice of excursion from our cruise, since we were determined to something more interesting than shuffling around the shops like the zombie apocalypse with hip replacements. The briefing, equipment, tuition and - of course - our host's command of English - were all absolutely top-notch. Can't be faulted. We had a wonderful time, thank you.

Highlight of our whole holiday - My husband and I were on a cruise and Olden Active is right on the dock in Olden so you can’t miss it. We hadn’t booked anything before we docked as we weren’t sure what the weather would be like. Having done a one hour bus tour up to one of the Glaciers we arranged to take a kayaking trip at 12 noon. It ended up being just my husband and I on the trip with Cypro our fantastic guide. We were instructed in how to paddle, along with other safety rules and were provided with full dry suit including boots. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking and we stopped during the trip so that Cypro could tell us many stories about the area- this also gave us a chance to rest ! This was probably the highlight of our whole cruise and would recommend it to anyone coming to Olden. Thank you Cypro for an unforgettable experience.

Amazing experience - Glad we booked with Viator as only 3 of us and Audun the guide. Really fab experience and learned so much about the local culture, stories and personal touch from Audun. He’s a truly outstanding guide. The kayak itself and the suits, boots etc. All provided and in good condition. Kayaking on the fjord itself was breathtaking and a definite highlight of our trip. Would recommend!

A must do in Olden - Absolutely loved this experience. Both guides were superb and Austin was very knowledgeable on the area and shared his knowledge.
When we arrived we were shown where to change into full dry suits and able to purchase a waterproof phone case, alittle pricey but worth it considering the price of a new phone!
4miles we kayaked that day, on a flat tranquil Fjord.
Totally recommend this experience a big tick off my bucket list

Highly recommend! Lovely guides - Amazing experience, guides were absolutely lovely. Handy kiosk where you can buy phone cases/sea bags to protect phones, all reasonably priced. Felt secure bringing phone in kayak to take photos, no one fell out the kayak so you should be fine! Got to kayak for a really good amount of time, also got to stop and learn more about the area from the guides. We walked away very happy with the experience and so glad we did it! Thank you for a lovely time!

Fantastic trip ❤️ 100% recommend - Kayaking with Olden Active in the breathtaking surroundings of Olden was an unforgettable experience! The booking process was incredibly easy, and everything was seamlessly organised, making the entire day hassle-free.
Our instructor and guide, Henki, was not only friendly and approachable but also exceptionally knowledgeable, ensuring we felt safe and had an amazing time on the water. His knowledge and guidance added a personal touch that made the experience even more special.
Paddling through such a picturesque part of the world was absolutely magical – the serene waters, majestic mountains, and stunning views were a feast for the senses. This was undoubtedly one of the best experiences we've ever had, and we can't recommend Olden Active enough to anyone looking for adventure in this beautiful corner of the globe
