The best day in nature! - We spent a few days in the Tsitsikamma so of course we had to do some adventurous activities. We decided to book the Green Route with BlackWater Tubing. The Green Route includes an hour of safety briefing, getting kitted up in your gear and driving to the start of the Green Route. Thereafter you walk for a few meters with your tube in hand to an open natural pool where you are shown the ropes of how to maneuver tubing in the dam. Our guides, Sheldon & Curtis were knowledgable and fun! We were able to jump from cliffs, tube down rock slides and Stand Up Paddle in the amazing scenery of the Tsitsikamma & the Storms River. The full experience was about 3 hours long. I definitely will come back and this time do the Red Route, which is the 6 hour experience.

Amazing - Unfortunately, they had to cancel the longer trip we had booked through lack of required minimum numbers. This was clearly stated and they let us know ahead of time. We went, however, in the shorter route. It was so much great fun !! We black tubes, paddled, rafted in our inflatables and paddled boarded! The guides, Bramwell and Sheldon were excellent. Great fun and true professionals. The setting is magical too. Pristine rainforest and rivers. A true must in the Garden Route.

Fabulous Adventure - The green route was exactly what we were looking for, easy and relaxing with a bit of adventure around every corner. Guide Richard and Curtus was fabulous and assisted ouma and all of us, but especially ouma, all the way. We had a lot of fun and definitely recommend it.

No water - No Tubing - No information!! - We were supposed to do Blackwater Tubing today, but unfortunately was impossible because there was no enough water in the river. So far I understand the weather condition constrains of this kind of activities. What I don't understand is why don't they contact us in advance! We drove 200km to get to the Tsitsikama Park and they tell us about the low level river while we are just there. Moreover, we phoned them in advance, early in the morning to check if the weather conditions were ok, and they didn't tell us anything about the river. As I mentioned before, they don't have any responsability on the weather, but the do have on non-communicating anything to customers.
