Definitely recommend it - We booked a private tour through viator. It had the best price but no reviews. I was a little nervous. The tour operator was not super responsive to my messages, and the tour was the day after we landed. We were in an apartment inside old town and cars weren’t allowed so I didn’t know how he was going to pick us up from the apartment. I got a message the day before, asking us to come to Hilton near the Pile gate. We figure out what/where that is and get there at the time given -7:30 am. There’s a ton of people waiting, all confused, unsure !!!! Anyways…. This guy shows up. He has a red minivan. He confirmed us and we got in. He had umbrellas for us in case of rain. He was so super nice and friendly😃 We stopped at Ston - he gave us the salient points. Then we drove to a camping ground and a private boat picked us up and brought us to Korcula. He walked around and showed us the main places - church, Marco Polo, the basic layout. We had free time, walked around, had lunch. Came back and the boat brought us back. We were interested in the mussel/oyster farms so he brought us to a local place and we had fresh oysters and mussels. He showed us a beach where we could swim but it was too cold. Then we went to a family owned winery in the Pelijsac peninsula and did a lovely wine tasting. And we drove back to the old town, Hilton garage. All in all it was such a lovely day, and we got some family time!! 5 stars to Boyon- our tour guide
