If you’re looking for a unique and unforgettable way to experience Stockholm, this is your tour! As the sun sets over the horizon, you paddle along the waters and have the perfect vantage point to take in the stunning views of the city.
This tour is perfect for beginners and novice paddlers, and the experienced kayak guide will provide safety and paddle introductions before departure.
The tour takes you through some of Stockholm’s most historic neighbourhoods, including Langholmen, Södermalm, Gamla Stan, Kungsholmen, and Lila Essingen. You’ll paddle under charming bridges, past colourful buildings, and through peaceful waterways.
During the tour, we’ll take a traditional Swedish Fika break, featuring organic ingredients. It’s the perfect time to relax, refuel, and chat with your fellow paddlers.
We use tandem kayaks by default, which are more stable, but single kayaks (previous experience required) are also available upon request.

Great tour in Stockholm's sunset - The tour took us through the various canals of Stockholm. Our tour guide Hannes was able to tell us a lot of exciting information about the history and present of Stockholm. About halfway through the tour we stopped for a little fika (Swedish for coffee break). Then we continued on towards the sunset. All in all, a highly recommended tour that is also suitable for people without kayaking experience.

Sunset kayak tour - Hard work for 2 unfit 50+ year olds. We had a fabulous time. Reni our guide was amazing. He was funny, helpful, calm & professional.
The Fika rest & chat with him & Lorena (the other participant) made it a tour to remember. We would definitely recommend it.

Definitely do it! - It was a really great experience! The city looks so calm and even more beautiful from the water... And the trip past the town hall at sunset was unique!
Our guide Bobby was always there to help and advise and was just really nice.

Another winner to pick…. - We had Bobby for our guide . Kind of special as we ended up with a private tour. My husband very experienced and myself not at all. We had kayak for 2 and it was great. Bobby was patient, told us so much history, pushed us a little which was fun and just made the trip so enjoyable. Great guide and really enjoys what he does. All the guys at the site were pleasant.

Fun, interesting and beautiful way to experience Stockholm - This is an amazing way to spend some time in Stockholm. It’s very relaxing well planned out and very picturesque. I was solo but met with a couple so with our guide our group of 4 was just enough to relax and laugh and enjoy the experience. It was my first time kayaking but our guide Bobby was very good at minding me and keeping me on track. This trip is a beautiful way to experience the city from the water, our guide provided great information at various points of interest. The water was lovely and the weather was definitely on our side and kept the water very calm. We also had a great laugh, our spirits were high as a flotilla of revellers with a guy onboard playing songs out to us and we all sang back and laughed. It was a great laugh and very interesting and beautiful.. thoroughly enjoyed!

Sunset cruise is fully worth the cost and time! - Good instructions for first timers, nice smooth ride. We stopped at a park for fika and ended with fantastic views of city hall and other central buildings.

Great experience for families! - A 4-hour kayak tour sounds a little daunting, but the pace was pleasant and the views were remarkable! Bobby was an excellent, friendly guide. My teenagers enjoyed the kayaking and the picnic on the lawn in front of a palace. Highly recommend!

Nice change of perspective - It was a lovely tour, even though there was no sunset as it was unfortunately a bit cloudy, and it was great to see Stockholm from the water's perspective. I would definitely recommend packing a change of clothes and dressing warmly as it gets chilly on the water in the evenings.
