- Själagårdsgatan - “Julklappsrim”, “Kalle Anka”, and “lussebulle” may be hard to pronounce, but Swedish Christmas traditions are not complete without them.
- Iglesia Alemana - When Stockholm was founded in 1252, the founder of the city, Birger Jarl, decided to invite the Germans to help him build the city, hence many of the Christmas traditions in Sweden are, in fact, German.
- Brända Tomten - Take in candelabras glowing in the windows while you stroll down the cobblestone streets of the Old Town.
- Stortorget - Christmas Market on the main square, Stortorget, where the smell of roasted almonds and warmed glögg fills the air.
- Storkyrkan - Swedish Christmas Music, discover some of the classic holiday music favourites of the Swedes and after, maybe you’ll want to sing along too! Learn about Lucia Day traditions celebrated on December 13th, including the “Lucia train” or procession, with lit candles and singing.
- Gamla Stans Polkagriskokeri - We end the tour at Gamla Stans Polkagriskokeri with Glögg, mulled wine, gingerbread cookies and a sample of polkagris.
