Navigate the bends of the mangrove rivers and paddle across shallow waters, affording an easy view of the Keys’ geological makeup and its dwellers from the convenience of your kayak. This outing grants a close-up experience of the mangrove ecosystem and its diverse aquatic life including tropical fish, crabs, starfish, jellyfish, sea cucumbers, sponges, and an array of water birds. Each journey offers a distinct adventure! Swimming proficiency is mandatory for all participants. Facilities to change clothes available on location. No storage lockers provided, but belongings can be left back at the paddle shack. Novices welcome!

Key West with Lazy Dog - Rachel was our guide and we had a fantastic time. Not our first time kayaking, but first time in a two-person. Great views and Rachel did an excellent job of pointing out where we were, the different sea life, flora and fauna in the mangrove areas. You can certainly tell that she really enjoys her job and the interaction that she has with everyone in her group.
It was a really good break from the pavement pounding and in all honesty, we could have just spent hours just lounging in some of the salt ponds in the mangroves.
Our group was pretty mixed with experienced folks and newbies and Rachel did a fantastic job of interacting with everyone and keeping us all at the same level.
Even with a little bit of breeze and a tide on the way back in, it was a very pleasant trip.

Great, Thorough, and Fun Tour of the Mangroves - It was a great tour! We saw so many different species of marine life in the mangroves, including small sharks and manatees. Our tour guide Jan made us feel comfortable and helped us enjoy our tour to the fullest.

Great slow paced tour - Greaexperience with Jan as a guide. A slow paced tour through mangroves where you get to enjoy the surroundings and hear a little about ecosystem of the keys.
And they have free parking and a really decent restaurant nearby for getting a bite after tour.

What a wonderful way to... - What a wonderful way to experience the natural wonder of the interior waters of Key West. We loved our tour guide Rachel who pointed out and explained all marine life we came across and offered a close up experience.
