Embark on a voyage into the lives of renowned Country & Western icons, Johnny Cash and his wife, June Carter-Cash. The Cinnamon Hill Great House served as the Jamaican residence of ‘The Man In Black’, legendary country music artist Johnny Cash, and his spouse, June Carter-Cash for four decades. This grand estate, with its Georgian influence, was initially the property of Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s kin, a poet from the 19th Century. The Cash family, smitten by the island’s allure, acquired it as their Jamaican sanctuary. Experience their domicile preserved in its essence to showcase not their celebrity personae but rather their genuine, warm selves.

Amazing!! - Amazing to think Johnny and June and their family made a ton of memories in this stunning house. We were able to take pictures of anything and you could just feel a close presence to the Cash family. Highly recommend. The road going in is a little rough but it’s well worth it when you arrive and you are guided by very knowledgeable people that have done their research.

Worth The Trip - A very interesting and informative tour of the home of Johnny and June Carter Cash they had in Jamaica. A lot of history, left just as it was when they last lived there. The tour guide was great and we thouroughly enjoyed it. Whether you are a big fan or not, it is worthwhile and very affordable.

Music Holy Ground - Words can't describe what we didn't know was here when we arrived. The Johnny and June Cash tour for music lovers is non-negotiable. Hallowed ground for sure. It was only about $25/person and was only 5 minutes from our resort (Jewel Grande). If you ever find yourself near here and have the opportunity, it is a must see.

Wonderful tour - It was a wonderful place to visit.. the tour guide she was so informative.i would recommend it .. amazing how the house has been left like when Johnny and June lived there... even their clothes are still in the closet..

Fantastic guide and insight into the lives of country music royalty. - We visited cinnamon hill House as we are fans of Johnny Cash and wanted to see where he and June spent their time in Jamaica.
We had a fantastic guide, Daltis who knew everything there was to know about this stunning property. She allowed us to take our time and gave us a real insight into their lives. Our tour ended with her singing an extract from Johnny's song about nearby Rose Hall which was really moving.
If you are a fan, this is a wonderful tour to take. The house is as it was left on their last visit before they both passed away, as such there are lots of family mementoes and even Johnny's shoes still where he left them.
Highly recommended.

Hidden Gem - It was a treat to come across the opportunity to tour the Cinnamon Hill Great House after visiting the Rose Hall Great House. We had an excellent and well informed tour guide that shared interesting facts about the Cash family’s life in their special retreat in Jamaica.
It was a little confusing on where you get tickets and how and where you start your tour. I had emailed Cinnamon Hill 3 times and never received a reply from the “Contact Us” address from their web page. Luckily, we had enlisted our tour operator, Lyndon McFarlane of Purpose Driven Tours Jamaica, who helped us through the process and made things go smoothly.

The real Johnny Cash - Wonderful tour. Seeing the place where the Cash family and friends shared so many memories was a real insight into the down to earth life style of Johnny Cash. Visitors can expect to feel a real connection to the Man in Black and feel the same connection that we did while at one of his concerts or listening to his and Junes's music.
