Hike to pulpit rock Norway - Our guide, Kent, was great. The hike for us at 70 was challenging but very doable. Views are beyond wonderful. The trail is well marked but mostly rock stairs. I highly recommend it.

Great hike - Had an amazing hike up to Pulpit Rock. Our guide Kenth was brilliant, and made the beautiful hike even more fun. When we went back we took a different route and got to see even more of the beautiful nature surrounding Pulpit Rock. We got picked up right on time and I got my breakfast and lunch that I had ordered. And as a solo traveler, even though I think I would get up there fine on my own, going on a guided tour was definitely worth it for me, just for the company. Would definitely recommend.

Enjoyable hike, great guide - Having read some of the bad reviews here, we had been quite worried ahead of the hike -- both because the weather forecast wasn't looking great and because we aren't the fittest of hikers. However, even though we were the slowest ones in our group of five, our guide Tuva managed to cater to the others' pace without leaving us behind, for which we are very grateful. The weather really wasn't on our side - we got some rain, and hail, and only a little bit of sunshine, but we still enjoyed the hike a lot and were able to take epic photos at the top (even if in the fog). The early start was a big blessing: we had Preikestolen entirely to ourselves! Given the number of people we met on our way down (probably over a hundred), we felt truly priveleged. I can hardly imagine how crowded it gets in the summer. The trail itself involved some steeper sections, but was well-marked and mostly composed of stone steps. The stones were fairly slippery in the wet weather, so sturdy hiking boots were definitely helpful. Mine were a bit worn, so I managed to slip a few times despite trying my best to be careful. For a couple of small sections where the steps were under reconstruction, we had to walk through the mud. Still, we enjoyed the hike a lot, our guide was great, everything happened on time, and we even finished several hours early (around 1pm). We are happy to have done this hike with Lyseforden Adventure.

Very memorable hike. - We were picked up by Andrea right on time at our hotel. We were the only two people that day, so it was a private tour. Grateful that the company did not cancel the tour. Andrea was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable and accommodating. The hike was moderately strenuous. We lucked out - there was not a single person on the rock when we arrived.

Guide with good care - Good guide with more care for travelers. Extremely focused on travelers health and stamina and need. In addition with pulpit we covered back side of pulpit as well. As mentioned pick up and drop off were taken care by guide. Thanks for the coffee.

Marius was an outstanding... - Marius was an outstanding guide who took great care of us under challenging conditions (strong winds and some ice). Early start was ideal as we reached the Rock before the crowds arrived. Marius also took us to see Bronze Age rock carvings by the sea on the way back which was a real bonus. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Fun! - Probably wasn’t needed but was still fun to meet other people and the guide, Marias, was such a nice guy. The ride was late and we waited for 40 minutes before we were if primed. Total of an hour waiting outside. So that was annoying but the guide was great.
