Opened in November 2017, it is situated on the top floor of the Jewish Immigration Memorial, within the historic synagogue of Bom Retiro, a traditional Jewish neighborhood in São Paulo.

Museu Judaico de Sao Paulo - The Jewish Museum of São Paulo (MUJ) is an institution committed to preserving and sharing Jewish history, culture, and traditions in Brazil, while fostering dialogue with contemporary Brazilian society.
The museum is housed in the historic Beth-El Synagogue, constructed between 1927 and 1932 in Byzantine style, with seven sides symbolizing the seven days of creation and the seven arms of the menorah.
The MUJ collection comprises approximately 2,000 items, including objects, documents, photographs, and oral histories that trace the journey of the Jewish community in Brazil, from the arrival of the first immigrants to the present day.
The museum also offers interactive and educational exhibitions on topics such as Jewish immigration, the Holocaust, and the contributions of Jews to Brazilian society. Additionally, it features a specialized library, shop, café, and spaces for events and cultural activities. -
Sinagoga Beth-El - During the Jewish tour of São Paulo, travelers will have the opportunity to explore some of the city’s historic and significant synagogues.
