Really fun tour - The tour was exactly as described - we stopped at a waterfall, hiked for about 2 hours to see other waterfalls and caves, and then went to the lookout point. The hike was easy and we stopped at quite a few places to look around and take photos. We only took 600ml water each and I would suggest taking a liter because it is very humid in the forest.

Great way to see Tijuca! - We saw so many beautiful falls and scenery in Tijuca! The hikes were moderately difficult but all 5 of our kids ages 8-18 were able to do them! We loved going under some of the falls and seeing the huge cave.

Great Tour with Reliable Tour Company - I would highly recommend this tour and the tour operator. I contacted the tour operator Daniel with some questions and was surprised to get such quick responses. All of my answers were quickly answered, even on a Saturday night. Our guide Bernardo picked us up at 8:30 right in front of our apartment and was even a few minutes early. My family of 3 joined 2 other people as we toured the park. You will make a few photo stops through the park (the popular spots/vistas) with plenty of time to get some good shots. Then you will take an uphill hike through the forest (maybe 30 minutes?) that requires some balance and average fitness level. This isn’t good for people w mobility issues. We were able to visit a cave and then cool off in the waterfall. Bring a towel if you’re interested and make sure to bring bug spray. The tour lasts around 4 hours from pick up to drop off. Bernardo did a great job telling us all about the forest, while also giving us plenty of time to take photos, rest, and drink water. We never felt like we were in a rush or on a schedule. We arranged hang gliding directly afterwards with the same tour operator allowing a smooth transition from the forest to the hang gliding ramp. It was a great day from start to finish—excellent communication, knowledgeable tour guide, and spectacular hang gliding afterwards.

Tijuca Forest - Great outdoor experince - Communication with tour operator was great. The morning started off great and it was just 3 people on the tour. Pedro the guide was very informative and enthusiastic. Once we got to the forest we stopped at one of the waterfalls by the side of the road. The hike to the waterfall was good and Pedro slowed the pace for me as I am not the fittest. Really enjoyed the waterfalls and scenic views.

Worth a visit. - A very pleasant way to spend the morning. Pace was leisurely with interesting information along the way. Saw one monkey, a frog and large cave spiders. Many people at the waterfall (Sunday) waiting their turn to stand under it.
