Amazing Experience!! - We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Alvaro. He is passionate about being a guide and truly wants people to have the best experience ever! He has clearly put a lot of time and effort into planning a perfect day trip, which includes seeing some beautiful beaches and a super fun hike to Telegraph Stone. The day also includes various treats and surprises! As an added bonus, Alvaro is an excellent photographer, so you’ll receive some amazing photos from him. I highly recommend booking this excursion … guaranteed to be one of the absolute highlights of a trip to Rio!!

MUST DO!! - You MUST do this tour if available! There are no other tours like it because this is the only one run by Alvaro! He takes exceptional care of everything and goes out of his way to make sure things run the best possible. He even tries to control the weather 😆 although this one is a little out of his reach. The photos he takes and videos he provides during the tour are so special and a great touch to the whole experience. I cannot recommend this tour enough. I will probably take it every time o visit Rio!

Amazing Tour - I had an amazing experience with Alvaro as our guide in Rio! I came solo but felt completely comfortable from the very beginning—Alvaro’s warm and friendly nature made it easy to feel included and welcomed. He is incredibly thorough when it comes to organizing and executing the tour—every detail was clearly thought out, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Alvaro is also extremely knowledgeable; he shared fascinating insights that truly brought Rio to life.
Oh, and did I mention he’s a great photographer too? He captured some fantastic moments along the way, which made the experience even more memorable. I can’t recommend him highly enough—if you’re looking for a guide in Rio who knows his stuff, takes care of everything, and genuinely cares about your experience, Alvaro is the one to go with!

A Perfect Day I’ll Never Forget - This was one of the best experiences I had in Brazil. The day was full of good moments, from the beautiful beaches to the fun hike and the sunset that felt like a dream.
What made it really special was him. You can see how much he cares and how much love he puts into what he does. There is something personal behind it all, and you can feel it during the trip.
The photos were amazing. I will keep them forever. I’ve done many tours before, but this one felt different in the best way.

🚙 An unforgettable adventure with new friends and dreamscapes 🌴✨ - The Jeep Tour with Alvaro was certainly one of the best experiences of my trip, and honestly, something that can hardly be overcome.
From the beginning, Álvaro made us feel like family; it was like having an “older brother” taking care of us and guiding us throughout the journey. His tour planning is impeccable, he speaks perfectly Spanish and English, and always had the best music to accompany the landscapes. Thanks to its excellent organization, we were able to explore beautiful and hidden beaches, far from the typical tourist areas — places so incredible that one would want to stay there.
I was traveling alone and, being an introverted person, I had a little nerves. But Álvaro knew how to integrate the group perfectly: we were a couple and four lone travelers who, by the end of the day, already seemed like lifelong friends, even went to dinner together! That sense of community, on a tour that started with strangers, was something that really marked me.
Every time I think about this tour, I get a very nice nostalgia. I not only took amazing memories and photos, but also valuable contacts and new friends.
Alvaro’s truck also deserves special mention: super safe, comfortable, spacious and very modern. This made the whole trip even more enjoyable.
A little advice for those who want to live this experience to the fullest: it is very important to be punctual and respect the times of Álvaro to be able to enjoy the whole itinerary. Also, go with an open mind to discover magical corners and share moments with amazing people.
I share a couple of photos in this review to give you an idea of how wonderful this tour was. Highly, highly recommended!

Great tour - Booked as a solo and there were four others in group. Saffo keeps it capped and as such this lends to a small family atmosphere. Despite my group being from all over we blended seamlessly and got along well. He is timely and as ever a professional yet maintaining the vibe of a good long time friend. Photography was amazing and would without hesitation recommend him should you choose to take this tour. The hike up while steep was not bad. Overall, Saffo is the best.
