An unforgettable day !!! - For us, travel is not a hobby... it’s an obsession. We have taken dozens of private tours throughout the world, but Bruno’s “Unforgettable Rio: Private Day Tour” clearly stands out as the very best experience to date.
To start with: Many tour operators commonly offer knowledgeable, energetic guides; however, Bruno is unique in that he utilizes a personal driver providing door-to-door service at each site. Worded differently, there is literally no wasted down-time navigating limited street parking and/or crowded parking lots.
Bruno mentioned that he is was born in Brazil, but lived in the USA for 20+ years; therefore, he is beyond fluent in both English and Portuguese. This ability to flawlessly speak both languages has clearly benefited him in building a network of local contacts at each site.
Why is this relevant to this review? Bruno is clearly a very kind and genuine man, which we believe explains why his many, many contacts literally smile and “light up” when they see him.
His sincere respectful approach toward his contacts has earned him the privilege of being gifted with shorter waits, easier/faster access to the sites, better viewing spots for his customers, and other unique experiences that we can attest were not available by other tour operators in Rio.
As a gay couple, we found Bruno incredibly LGBTQ+ friendly, engaging, welcoming, and inclusive-making us feel safe, supported and completely at ease throughout the day.
Time spent with Bruno is more than just a tour, it’s an experience. He weaves historical facts with an easy story-telling style which is captivating. We fully intend on returning to Rio and booking more experiences with Bruno.

Amazing tour! Bruno is impressive in every way. Private van with AC and cold water all day were perks! - LOVED THIS TOUR!!! We have traveled extensively and Bruno is one of the very best tour guides we have ever had! Along with impeccable English skills, Bruno led the tour with professionalism in every interaction while being extremely personable and fun. He’s very knowledgeable and could answer every question we had. The private van with AC and cold water made the day so pleasant. We loved every minute and will tour again with Bruno when we return! Five stars is not enough!

Laughs, beer and cultural excellence! - Bruno is the man! A very likeable and friendly person with a rich understanding of Brazilian culture.
He knows all the locals and definitely makes the trip very interesting. If you enjoy a laugh and a beer, Bruno is your man!

Incredible experience - would highly recommend!! - We only had 3 days in Rio and we’re so glad that one of them was spent with Bruno on a private tour. Bruno is very knowledgeable and kept us interested the whole day. It’s a big day, but there’s enough variety of attractions, food / breaks and picture taking to keep things interesting - and incredible stories! I couldn’t recommend Bruno enough for this. Very trustworthy and he looks after you, and gives great tips on places to eat for the rest of your time there! Great communication before as well.

Incredible experience, unique - Amazing experience, way more immersive and better than I could have expected ! Bruno made this one fo the best experiences I’ve had whilst travelling, always safe and knew all the best gems around the city. His effort and knowledge goes above and beyond other experiences and is well worth it :)

Amazing experience with Bruno! - Spending time with Bruno was incredible - he has excellent depths of knowledge and took me beyond the traditional tourist hot spots. It was such a great experience that we have done another tour the next day. Highly recommended!

Comprehensive tour!!! - We had a great time with Bruno! He’s very knowledgeable, he took us to main sites to see and more, we learned so much about Rio: place, the people , culture and food!! Bruno is passionate with what he does, we see him interacted with people and everyone seem to love him, he’s also a really good photographer . He recommended great restaurants, shared lots of tips . too bad we basically just had 2 days in Rio . We felt we accomplished a lot from our day tour with Bruno!
William, his driver , was also very patient ,and a great driver!

Great time and highly recommend - Bruno was very knowledgeable and gave us extra tips on restaurants and other sites we were planning on visiting on our own. He showed us the expanding and changed landscape of Rio and gave us historical insight and culture on how Rio has developed as the city grew, since its founding.

Perfect Day - Bruno was absolutely amazing. His tour was perfectly tailored to our group. He knew the ins and outs of his city. His knowledge of the city and the attractions was excellent. I would highly recommend taking his tour!
