During this narrated journey, you’ll steer and command your own speedboat while following a skilled and knowledgeable guide in a separate boat. There is a two-way communication framework in every boat, enabling you to hear your guide throughout the excursion. This speedboat exploration is a wonderful opportunity to view the stunning Tampa Bay from a water perspective!
- Not recommended for people with neck or back problems or a recent surgery to participate. Pregnant women should not participate.
- Bring a swimsuit in the summer and a jacket in the winter, sandals or flip-flops, towel, sun block, sunglasses
- The per-boat weight limit is 425 lbs (192kgs).
- You must be 18 years or older to drive a boat by yourself
- The boats do not have a storage compartment; bags can get wet
- No experience or boating license required

Fun - Fun and not so bumpy. You only get wet if doing sharp turns at high speed. You ride in a row, in the wake of all boats on the tour. So if somebody in front of you likes it slow, it will not be so much fun. But we managed to leave a bigger gap so we could go full speed at times of somebody chose to go much slower than the guide.

Fun easy way to get out on the water - Great experience, captain Scott was an excellent tour guide and navigator for us. Even helped get some seaweed out of the boats propeller when we thought we were going to be stuck.

Awesome - This was an awesome on the water experience for my 11 year old grandson and I. We got to enjoy Boca Ciega Bay with a little speed and bouncing on the waves. He was super excited. I definitely recommend this adventure, our guide, Scott was very knowledgeable about the waterways and was suitably safety conscious. Thanks for taking good care of us. See you next time.

This was so much fun!... - This was so much fun! Captain Scott ended up giving us a private tour because others had cancelled. He is very knowledgeable and gives very good instructions. We had a great time and got to hear some fun stories about the area. If you take this tour, request Captain Scott, he is the best!

Fun ride! - We went on the speedboat adventure with Captain Scott. We enjoyed the speedboat and learning about the area. Scott was very helpful and a great teacher. The waves were pretty high the day we went out but he took us to some of the calmer waters and made sure everyone had a great time.

Good time on the water! - This was a fun time for us. Our guide Captain Scott did a good job. The waters were calm and he took us all around the intercoastal waterway for about 1.5 hours. Will do this again on our future vacations.

Operator cancelled due to bad weather and has not provided a promised refund. - Got a text message that due to bad weather that this offering could not be fulfilled and a refund was promised. Received a cancellation message from the operator through Viator on 6/19/24 and it is now 6/24/24 and no refund has been issued. I have contacted the operator with no response.
Would greatly appreciate your help in getting a refund issued.
