We meet at the Dungeness Dock at 12:30 upon the arrival of the 11:45 ferry to Cumberland Island.
You must book the ferry ticket and entrance to Cumberland Island National Seashore SEPARATELY.
Be aware there is NOTHING to purchase once you arrive on the island.

Wonderful Historic tour and guide! - Sonya was an AMAZING tour guide! She made the various periods of history come alive. She was a wealth of knowledge and information. Would highly recommend this tour and tour guide!
Appreciated all the information on the website (ferry links, National park links, etc.). Also appreciated getting to talk with Molly to help us figure out tour dates and options.
Look forward to trying out other tours in the future with Molly's Old South Tours!

Marry was a great... - Marry was a great storyteller! She brought history to life to make our tour engaging! She also pointed out things that were unique to the day so we could learn about everything we were experiencing like see a submarine!

It was great! - We had a wonderful time. The guide was very helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable. He discussed the history of the island as well as many of the plants and animals. He gladly answered any questions we had.

Worth the money. - Informative history of people who inhabited Cumberland Island. We walked about 3 miles over about 2hrs. Beautiful scenery and well worth it if you want to know about the history of Cumberland.

Cumberland Island tour April 2025 - We had a very nice tour with David from Molly's Old South tours. He met us at the ferry and introduced himself before we boarded. He was very interesting in his discussions about the buildings that were on the property and the history of the property going all the way back to the Spaniards in the 1500s. He was well versed in the Carnegie family history as well. It was an interesting and informative tour.

Great tour! - Deb was our tour guild and she was wonderful! She used to be a ranger and a science teacher. Beautiful island that you could spend 5-6 hrs on if you wanted to see both the historical sites and the beach area. Highly recommend taking this tour!!!

Saturday afternoon at Cumberland - This was my second tour with Molly’s, Ben our guide did an excellent job! He was knowledgeable and engaging and interacted well with our group. I’d highly recommend this walking tour of Cumberland!
