Excellent trip - Excellent, tour guide very knowledgeable explained about all the trees and spices. We had a short walk first, good shoes should be worn. The tram ride was fantastic. So peaceful. The views were fantastic. Well worth the money.

One of the highlights of our trip - This is peaceful and cool if you need a break from the heat and sun at the beach. We did the aerial tram tour with a short hike afterwards. The tram is very sturdy and safe - it's built by an Austrian company and the sort of thing you would see at a ski resort for going up the slope. Your guide rides with you in the tram. The views from the tram were great.
We saw a lot of beautiful birds, hummingbirds especially. Not too much other rainforest wildlife on our trip. Good views of the trees from a different angle though.
The real highlight for me was the short walk after the tram ride. I wasn't expecting much, but our guide was very engaging. He showed us tropical plants that grow on the island and made it a multi-sensory experience (touch, smell, taste). That kept our younger kids interested the whole time.
The location is pretty high up some winding island roads so consider the option to get a shuttle or else be prepared for a somewhat challenging drive up.

Tell Tammy the flower is... - Our docent / guide, Tammy, was excellent! It was a really nice change from the hustle & bustle of the cruise ship and traffic to be transported into and above a quiet, peaceful rainforest.
Someone please relay to Tammy the yellow flower near the drinks kiosk is the 'Shower of Gold' or 'Galphimia glauca Cav.' Thanks!

Nice little trip to the rainforest - top organized! - Top organized excursion: we were picked up on time by Stan and driven to Rainforest Adventure Park. There Faith received us and took us to the gondola, which was already waiting for us, so no waiting time. During the trip Faith provided us with interesting information about the flora and fauna of the rainforest, pointed out a lot so that we could get a good impression.
Afterwards Faith took us for a short walk through the Hummingbird Garden before Stan brought us back to the hotel.
A nice little trip into the rainforest! The fact that you see many plants, but only with luck hummingbirds, parrots or even larger animals on the ground, is probably in the nature of the matter, after all, is not a zoo...

Wonderful Tram Experience - The experience was wonderful. It was the first and one of a kind experience for us. I must say it is not for persons who are afraid of heights. We arranged for the transportation to and from the Reserve for the additional cost and it was worth it! The tour operator, Ericker, was prompt in answering our inquiry about booking transportation to and from the Reserve. The cost was very affordable for the round trip. When we arrived the tour conductor was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the rainforest. The tour conductor pointed out numerous birds and plants to the group. The weather was great and the pace of the Tram was good allowing for pictures. After the Tram ride, the group was given the option of a hike of the rainforest or a tour through the garden. Our group opted for the garden tour. This allowed for a close up view of numerous plants found in the rainforest. We learnt about the properties of the different plants. We ended our tour at the gift shop. We got some locally made hot sauce, guava cheese and tamrind balls.
Thank you Viator for making this experience available.

Great tour - Amazing scenery and a great tour which is so worth it, just spoilt by our guide’s attitude. Left a bitter taste and spoilt what was an amazing experience.

Peaceful and tranquil if no children are travelling on your gondola. - A good experience with the staff and the views were spectacular. The only downside side for us was the lack of wildlife available to see and we had a couple on our gondola with small children that just wouldn’t shut up. It kinda spoiled the peace and tranquility of the ride for us which was unfortunate.

If you’d like to spend over an hour looking at trees and the backs of peoples heads then this is for you. - We booked the rainforest tram through our Marella cruise at the cost of $375 for 4 adults and 1 child.
The tram might be the most boring thing I’ve ever been on, the guide seemed bored too (to be fair there’s only so many things you can say about trees)
The trams hold 8 passengers plus 1 guide and even though it wasn’t busy and there were plenty of empty trams they still decided to put another 3 adults in our tram, 2 of which were sat at the front so anyone in the 3 rows behind couldn’t see anything.
Also on the website the top of the tram is open, this is not the case, there is a green tarpaulin over them so you can’t look at anything above you.
Far far too expensive for what is essentially a n hour long cable car ride through a forest.
If you like to see trees and the backs of other peoples heads then you’ll love this.
