Don’t miss this one! - What a wonderful experience. The chef had excellent recipes, and allowed us to do the cooking, rather than just observing. We had a tour of the beautiful on sight garden , where the ingredients were grown… fresh and delicious. Three courses & cocktails. Loved every minute. Highly recommend!

A fun, hands-on culinary experience! - We enjoyed both the informative tour of the beautiful gardens and the cooking experience in the kitchen of this lovely estate. In our role as assistant chefs, the full meal we assisted the sous chef in preparing and plating was truly delicious, and a great introduction to the flavors and cooking techniques of St. Lucia. The three-course meal we prepared and consumed was excellent!

Great experience - Chef Jules and his team were exceptional! I wish I has written down all the ladies that helped on the tour and cooking, Silvia (sp) was very informative with the history of the garden and the island. She was funny with her jokes and warm and welcoming to us the entire time she helped us with the tour and rum shot at the end. Chef Jules organized a great fulfilling menu for appetizers, entree and dessert. My family and I hope to go there again the next time we visit Saint Lucia.

Poor value for money, not given your own station to cook - You are not given your own station and ingredients to cook! This was very disappointing given the expensive price. This should be detailed in the description before you purchase a ticket. For my session, 6 of us were 'competing' to join the chef to make the three courses. There is no structure - whoever puts their hand up quickest goes up to the kitchen table. So you risk not doing anything meaningful at all, especially if the rest of the group is (understandably) self-interested! Chef assigns various tasks (peeling, mashing, cutting etc) per course and guides you how to best present the dish. There is no space for you to improvise. You enjoy a three course meal and the chef is explaining/informing you all the way through. Staff are lovely but ultimately, this is poor value for money. I put my email address down at the end of the course to receive the recipe - nothing has been sent (I attended Feb 9th). I emailed Barefoot Holidays to chase this up - still no response after a week.
