Highlights
  • Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park - Your tour starts at Port Zante/or a local hotel where you will be picked up in a taxi/or luxury vehicle. Enroute to Romney Manor, you will travel through Basseterre. In Basseterre, your tour guide will point out the historical sites of Berkeley Memorial, Immaculate Conception Catholic Co-Cathedral, Independence Square, The War Memorial, and many other treasured sites.
Upon arrival at Romney Manor, you will set foot on eight acres of grounds dating back to the 1600s. Located at Romney Manor is the largest living organism in St. Kitts, a 400-year-old, 24 foot in circumference Saman tree. Romney Manor, and the adjacent Wingfield Estate have had five family owners to date. The first owner was Samuel Jefferson II, the great, great, great grandfather, of Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States. In the 1970s, Romney Manor became a batik enterprise. Caribelle Batik is an internationally recognized producer of fine batik products made of quality fabrics. Wingfield Estate is adjacent to Romney Manor. Wingfield Estate is one of four places on St. Kitts that has a 17th century Amerindian petroglyphs. The Wingfield watershed is a natural resource that deposits water into the Wingfield River. The watershed provides the island with more than three-fourths of the island’s water requirement.
After your tour departs Romney Manor, you will continue your journey to Brimstone Hill Fortress. As you travel on the island’s main road, your tour guide will direct your attention to Bloody Point, and other landmarks along the route to Brimstone Hill Fortress. At Brimstone Hill Fortress, you will disembark, and engage yourself on a tour of a UNESCO World Heritage Site of historical, cultural and architectural significance: a monument to the ingenuity of the British military engineers who designed it, with the the skill, strength and endurance of the African slaves who built and maintained it.
The final stop on your tour is South Friars Beach, where you can relax, snorkel, jet ski, paddleboard or soak up the sun. At the end of the tour, you are returned to Port Zante/or your local hotel.

Good Tour - Loved learning the history of St Kitts as well as the breathtaking views. William out tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. However, the description on Viator is kind of confusing as it states that entry to Brimstone and Romney Manor are included and we had to pay. Also, no beach time. The tour was quite long without it though.

A great Island Tour with Gregory - My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the tour given by Gregory. He was right on time with a beautiful Escalade to show us around. He was fun and knowledgeable and this tour was a highlight of our cruise. My emails beforehand with Russell (the owner) gave me peace of mind that not doing and on board excursion was safe and going to be a great experience. If you are traveling to St. Kitts and want a great island tour and are worried about not using an excursion from the cruise line, worry no more. This was a great, private tour with an amazing guide for am amazing price. This is top notch customer service and quality. When I return to St.Kitts, I will definitely use St Kitts/Nevis Luxury Taxi & tours again.

Beautiful Island - Amazing Tour! - This was one of the best tours I have had on this island! I am a student here but there were still so many things I didn’t know about the history of where I was living. We had a 3 hour tour and learned so much in that time on what is supposed to be just the highlights of St. Kitts. To think that there could be more to show is simply amazing. Chris was very knowledgeable about everything and never hesitated to answer any questions. He also let us stop wherever to take pictures and is a bit of a photographer himself haha. Overall great experience, my family has gone on a tour with him three times so that should speak to something!

Breath taking - Chris is extremely polite and knowledgeable. On my way back to the airport we stop for pictures and he is an amazing photographer and taught me so much about the history and topography of the island 🏝 I definitely can’t wait to come back; and when I return I know who to go to for insight and amazing time. Thanks Chris !!!

Absolutely a wonderful experience - We booked "The Best of St. Kitts" tour on Sunday, Feb. 13. On a rating from 0 to a high of 5 Stars, our tour was 5 stars. Our 'driver/tour guide” met us at the Arrival Area of Port Zante holding a sign with our name. The Arrival Area was a short walk (from where the ships dock) to the Port Zante fence and gated area. We immediately found our guide at this gate (on the outside)."The Best of St. Kitts" tour was customized for our needs. We went to Brimstone Hill Fortress first. Our driver/tour guide described everything we saw on the way. At the fortress he told us to take our time; he would be waiting for us in the parking area next to the entrance. If we looked at everything it probably could have taken 2 hours, but that was not necessary. We looked at a lot and it took 1 3/4 hours. On the return route to Port Zante our driver/tour guide took us to a couple of stops on the way and gave us a description of what we were passing. The entire tour was a very enjoyable four hours. This was the best part of the four ports we visit while on our cruise. Ray & Fran Donelson
