Highlights
  • The tour begins at the Plaza. Following a brief introduction, you’ll join your tour guide to cross the street and visit Ancient City Brewing to sample a superb craft beer. After enjoying your first beer (on us), you’ll return across the street to the Plaza to continue our eerie journey, then you’ll board the cart to uncover the ghostly mysteries of St Augustine.
  • As your guide navigates through the former Ponce de Leon Hotel, you’ll hear mysterious accounts tied to the former Flagler’s Era hotel. The tour will continue past the former Alcazar, The Murat House and St Francis Inn en route to the Former Surprise Store, giving you another opportunity to hydrate.
  • The cart will be parked near the municipal marina. As guests, you’ll enter the former Surprise Store from the Flagler’s Era. This used to be the site of the earliest Catholic church in the US which was burnt down in 1702. Located next to it was the Spanish Military Hospital. Considering the history, it’s chilling to think of the number of human remains that may still be beneath this block.
Two bars are available for you to choose from at this location.
Here, you’ll get another chance to have a drink and feel the presence of the other kind of spirits. This location is known for its intense paranormal activities in the Old City.
  • The tour will proceed northbound on Menendez Avenue with a pit stop being made at the oldest masonry fort in the United States. Your guide will regale you with tales of ghostly ships and the devastating impact of the 1821 yellow fever that wiped out a third of the population. Next, we advance towards the cemeteries.
  • These are the hub of most paranormal occurrences in St Augustine.
  • City Gates is renowned for its orbs appearing on photos taken at the location. Get your cameras ready!
  • The oldest designed cemetery in the US is expected to have frequent ghost sightings.

Your following halt will be at the White Lion Bar, notoriously known as one of the most haunted bars in the city.

Ghostly encounters with real companies at St. Augustine. - I booked this tour for June 9 at 9:00pm. They processed the payment on the 7th. Before we even arrived at the city of Saint Augustine. We intended to go on the trip that night. However the weather was horrible. Thunderstorms and copious rain. We contacted Viator to cancel the trip because it was not possible to do this tour under the weather conditions. It was not safe to travel under a thunderstorm and pouring rain. The tour should have been canceled and refunded. It is understandable that if there is no justified reason to cancel the trip. You will be responsible for the charges. However, when weather does not allow the guests to go on the trip because it is not safe. They should not be expected to pay for the charges. I’m giving you my honest review. As you may understand I cannot recommend your company to anyone. I will probably never book another tour with you ever again.
