- Castillo de San Marcos National Monument - Join us on the oldest continuously operated walking ghost tour in town. Walk the dark narrow streets of St. Augustine and hear tales of those who came before us and refuse to leave. You will visit The Castillo de San Marcos, The City Gate, The Tolomato and Hugenot Cemeteries, as well as some of our favorite hotspots.

Additional Information
This guided wandering journey lasting 1.5 hours takes visitors in a deep dive into the creepier side of St. Augustine’s past. Our professionally licensed guides tell tales handed down through generations about the peculiar and challenging history of the oldest town. The tours are suited to all ages and are both family and pet-friendly. While guests with mobility issues are welcome, certain streets might pose a challenge for some wheelchairs/power wheelchairs.
The tours have a bit of history and a large amount of mystery. Guides will also teach guests on the use of ghost detecting equipment, which can be hired for $5. Participants are more than welcome to bring their own ghost detecting tools.

Great Experience! - Our tour guide was fantastic! Although I didn't catch her name, she said that she's also a fourth grade teacher. My wife and I were talking after the tour, and we both thought she would have been awesome to have! Very informative and fun. Highly recommend.

Good for all ages and REAL stories! - We are Orlando natives and have been to St. Augustine countless times, it’s a right of passage for 4th graders in Central Florida. But this is the first ghost tour we’ve ever done here! Dion set the mood right from the start with his clothing and accessories. The stories he told were so fascinating and spooky in a real way, not a gimmicky way. St. Augustine has so much history, there’s no need to make it up! No ridiculous scare tactics, nothing that would scare little kids but definitely haunting enough for the adults to enjoy. Our 15 year old enjoyed it too. I believe her comment was, “Dion was a whole vibe” and regarding his outfit, “he ate and left no crumbs.”

A very informative and ghostly evening! - The sheriff was awesome. He was a great storyteller and obviously loves what he does. He was knowledgeable and informative. He was also patient with my mom who has trouble walking long distances, helping her go down the stairs to the fort. Thanks again sheriff and A Ghostly Encounter!
