10/10 - Highly recommend potters wax museum. Walkable distance from pretty much anywhere downtown. Everyone working was very nice and helpful. The museum offers something for everyone. The wax figures are extremely life like. The workers are very friendly and will tell you how everything is made! Stop by if you are interested in history, movies and lots of education/facts about your favorite actors and historic icons.

Enjoyed this wax museum - This wax museum had a good variety of figures. Some didn't look like the characters they represented, but was still enjoyable. There were presidents, war heroes, composers, kings & queens, Cleopatra, knights, etc. There was even a horror section which was optional. We did enjoy it.

So many ancient wax beef(s) :) - Lots of history at the Potter's Wax Museum, Yikes! I wonder if Andrew Jackson and Charles Dickinson fight late at nights like that Ben Stiller flick.

An Interesting Museum with Really Good Staff - We have visited St. Augustine many times as a family, but we had never visited Potter's Wax Museum. We entered and decided to pay the admission to tour the museum. The admission fee is reasonable for a tourist town like St. Augustine. The Museum is in the location of the old town drug store, but it has been a wax museum for a very long time. It is located right near the old city gates and the parking garage. The wax figures are primarily of historical figures. There are presidents, famous authors, famous classical musicians, historical characters from ancient and medieval history, etc. There are some entertainment and sports figures (Michael Jordan, Star Wars, etc.), but they are by far the smallest segment in the museum. The wax figures are all painstakingly crafted and most were very recognizable. I have to say the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I can highly recommend asking them questions and learning as much as possible from them. The visit was fun and much better than I initially expected. I can recommend the Wax Museum.

Wax Museum - This is a small old wax museum with some outstanding works of art. The displays are nice. Staff super friendly. It was a very nice experience but unfortunately my granddaughter is not interested in history. They had quite a few beautiful figures. They were extremely life like. We spent about an hour here but you could spend longer with the interactive displays. Best thing is the AC & getting out of the heat for awhile. Convenient parking in the city garage.

Amazing figures but small spaces - We got off the trolley for this experience and the staff was SUPER friendly, I would say it was an amazing experience but the WWII section was rather small and uncomfortable to the point I did not want to go in there and be face to face with the Hitler figure. Other than that we loved the pop culture figures!

A Decent Wax Museum - I'm not a huge wax museum person, and often find outside of the big names (Grevin, Tussaud, et. al.) the figures are often of a 'so bad they're good' quality. Many of the figures here were quite good, and the settings were well done overall. Because of the smallish size of the museum, space is at a premium and some of the exhibits felt quite cramped and overpopulated. Staff were very friendly. The front area is preserved as the oldest drugstore in the city.
