Arrival in Srinagar: A Warm Welcome

As we touched down in Srinagar, the air was crisp and filled with the promise of adventure. Our family was greeted by Mr. Ali, our point of contact for the week, whose warm smile and genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire trip. Our accommodation for the night was a charming houseboat on Dal Lake. The kids were thrilled with the novelty of staying on water, and the evening shikara ride was a magical experience. Sonmarg, or the Golden Meadow, was our final stop. Here, we embarked on a horse ride to the Thajiwas Glacier, a highlight of the trip.
