The route passes through Pampore, Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, known as the breadbasket of Kashmir. Depart from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through Anantnag, the second largest city. From there, the road becomes scenic as it runs parallel to the Lidder River flowing in the opposite direction. In Pahalgam, explore local sights and valleys. Pahalgam to Srinagar

Srinagar to Gulmarg and Back

Gulmarg - After breakfast, embark on a day excursion to Gulmarg, lasting approximately 8 hours, to visit local sights and valleys. Known as the meadow of flowers, the route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is captivating. The journey offers fascinating twists and turns with picturesque surprises at every corner, taking about 2 to 3 hours to reach the destination. A popular tourist activity is the Gondola cable ride (subject to weather conditions and payable directly by guests). Later, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay.

Chashme Shahi or Chashma i Shahi, also known as Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built in 1632 AD around a spring by Ali Mardan Khan, a governor under Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, as a gift for his eldest son, Prince Dara Shikoh.

Nishat Garden - This is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley. Shalimar Bagh is also located on the bank of Dal Lake. ‘Nishat Bagh’ in Urdu means the “Garden of Joy,” “Garden of Gladness,” and “Garden of Delight.”

Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden - The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, formerly known as the Model Floriculture Center, is a tulip garden in Srinagar. It is the largest tulip garden in Asia, covering an area of about 30 hectares. It is situated at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range with a view of Dal Lake. (Sightseeing is subject to the garden being open to tourists)

Hazratbal Masjid - The Hazratbal Shrine, commonly known as Dargah Sharif, is a Muslim shrine located in the Hazratbal locality of Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, India. It houses a relic, Moi-e-Muqqadas, believed to be a hair of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
