Dal Lake - Day 01: Arrive in Srinagar, where you will be greeted upon arrival and transferred to your hotel or houseboat. Later in the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. The rest of the evening is free for shopping at your leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Srinagar.

Pahalgam

Betab Valley - Originally known as Hajan Valley or Hagan Valley, Betab Valley is located 15 km (9.3 mi) from Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of India’s union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. The valley was named after the hit debut film Betaab (1983) starring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh. It is situated northeast of Pahalgam, between Pahalgam and Chandanwadi, and is on the route to the Amarnath Temple Yatra. The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow-capped mountains, and dense vegetation.

Aru Valley - Aru is a village and tourist destination in the Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is 53 km from Anantnag city, the district headquarters, and about 12 km from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Known for its scenic meadows, lakes, and mountains, it serves as a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier, Tarsar Lake, Marsar, and Herbaghwan Lake. The village is situated on the left bank of the Aru River, a tributary of the Lidder River. Jammu & Kashmir’s largest Fodder Seed Production Station is also located in Aru village.

Chandanwari - Pahalgam is linked with the annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath Yatra shrine. Chandanwari, located 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the yatra, which occurs every year in July and August, attracting hundreds of thousands of tourists. Due to its religious significance and role as a base camp, the town draws 70% of visitors to the valley. This influx of tourists can overwhelm some local infrastructure, particularly waste management in the town.

Gulmarg

Gulmarg Gondola - The two-stage gondola lift transports about 600 people per hour to and from Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of the nearby Apharwat Peak (4,260 m or 13,976 ft). The ropeway project is a collaboration between the Jammu and Kashmir government and the French company Pomagalski. The first stage takes passengers from the Gulmarg resort at 2,650 m (8,694 ft) to Kongdoori Station in the bowl-shaped Kongdori valley. The second stage, featuring 36 cabins and 18 towers, carries skiers to a height of 3,980 m (13,058 ft) on Kongdoori Mountain, a shoulder of the nearby Afarwat Peak (4,200 m or 13,780 ft). The first phase ticket costs 900 Indian rupees per person, and the second phase ticket is 1200 Indian rupees.

Sonmarg

Thajiwas Glacier - The glacier is an ideal spot for trekking and camping. Visitors can experience the glacier’s beauty by trekking from Sonamarg, or they can hire a pony to reach the glacier. It remains snow-covered throughout the year.

Zoji La Pass - Zero Point is approximately 35 km from Sonmarg. Visitors can reach this location by taking a local taxi from Sonmarg. It’s a stunning place where you can enjoy the snow even in summer. The view is truly breathtaking.
