Leopards are naturally elusive, so it is advisable to embark on at least three to four game drives to maximize the chances of sightings. This park is also one of the rare locations in the country where the endangered shaggy-coated Sloth Bear can be observed. Visitors may also encounter Asian Elephants, including solitary bull elephants, a few renowned tuskers, and small groups of females and calves. Other larger mammals that might be spotted include Jackals, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Buffalo, Wild Boar, and the Grey Langur. During the dry season, from June to September, significant numbers of Mugger Crocodiles can be seen in the shrinking waterholes.
