AMAZING! - We did a safari to Udawalawa with our amazing gide Kuma. He picked us up at 11.45 at our hotel in Tangalle and bring us to a restaurant to have lunch before the Safari. We invited Kuma to have lunch with us and after the lunch, Daru was already waiting for us with his jeep. We drove to the national park were Kuma & Daru told us everything about the landscape, some trees and a lot of animals. They take there time to explain and show us everything there is to see and they know where to find the animals. Daru is a really good driver that drives very calm and sees the smallest animals to show us, like a baby chameleon in a tree. Kuma is also a really calm driver that brought is safely to Udawalawa and back to Tangalle. We saw a lot of animals and the little baby elephant made our day extra special 🫶🏼 If you are going to book a safari, then you should definitly book it here.

Get to know Sri Lanka from inside! - We didn't just go for Udawalawe Safari, but this was also really good experience, elephants! We spent one week with Shehan and after that I can truly say that if you want guide, who is flexible, relaxed and knows everybody in the country (just half-joking) you have to choose him!

Highlight of our trip! - The afternoon safari at Udawalawe National Park was a highlight of our two week trip around Sri Lanka! The Toyota Hilux was very comfortable and our driver was both smooth and safe. He was also great at spotting wildlife which we would have otherwise missed - we were lucky enough to see a rare wild cat! Overall we'd highly recommend booking with Shenhan Safaris!

Elephants all over - We did Udawalawe and not Yala, because our host told us, that it is very nice too and not too overcrowded - he was right! We had a great afternoon and saw many animals, especially elephants! It was a great experience!

Must do half day safari from Tangalle - Shehan was a great tour operator. He made things easy in that he organises everything, he was flexible when we kept changing our minds, and he was very knowledgeable on the safari. And we saw soooo many animals on the safari it was amazing and definitely worth it.

EXCELLENT TOUR GUIDE!! - I’ve been in Sri Lanka 2 times and both times I did tours with Shehan. To mention some, I’ve been around Tangalle, Ella, Safari in Udawalala, tea plantation etc. it has been a pleasure every time! He is very friendly, knowledgeable, profesional and he always give you the little extra. I can highly recommend Shehan! 10 stars!!

The best safari only with Shehan! - If you go on safari, do it only with Shehan! He is punctual, has many years of experience in organizing safaris and knowledge about animals. His keen eye will spot even very hidden animals. you can really trust shehan! He also has a great sense of humor, we had the best time together!

Best Safari in Tangalle - It was a great tour! Everything was perfectly organized, transport and transfer were of excellent quality. We saw a huge number of animals and of course many elephants.
