4 day trip from Sigiriya to Ella - The trip was excellent. Lashan was a good guide. We could change the length of our trip and locations. We could discuss the details in whatsapp before the trip. I would recommend taking at least 7...10 days for seeing the whole island. 3..4 days is not enough. We drove around in a very clean airconditioned Toyota van.

Sri Lanka tour , beautiful people , beautiful intrresting country - We had an excellent trip with Lashan showing us the amazing sights of Sri Lanka , He was a friendly , knowledgeable and very flexible with our itinerary. He even arranged a lastminute request to see Sri Lanka play an international cricket match, what an experience! Lasham took great pride in his vehicle .We particularly enjoyed hearing snippets of information about the way of life in the past and as it is today.The tea plantations , Galle Fort, and Ella were our highlights along with the view of Lion rock.Thanks to Lashan for our Sri Lankan cricket shirts ..what a holiday we had !!

Amazing trip! - We had a fabulous time with Lashan on our 9 day tour of Sri Lanka. He planned all activities and hotels for us, from visiting tea plantations, to afternoon tea, to safari, hikes and more. A very safe driver and very knowledgeable about his lovely home country. My dad was ill for some of the trip and he bought some medicine for him and was really accommodating to our changing plans. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommended. A must - We stayed in Sri Lanka for 8 days and wondered how to structure our trip - I was very happy to discover Hikkaduwa Taxi service. They were very helpful in scheduling a trip and adjusting the agenda the way we wanted to have it. Our driver Pubudu was great and he went above and beyond to make sure we have the best time - and indeed, there is nothing that disappointed. Definitely recommend!!

Vimu our amazing driver - Our recent trip to Sri Lanka was entirely organized by the Sri Lanka Round Tour Company and it was an experience worth sharing. Initially, I was skeptical about the authenticity of the company and the cleanliness of their vehicles, but I was proven wrong the moment we landed. Our driver Vimu was waiting for us at the airport with a placard displaying our names, which was a nice personal touch. The sight of the sparkling clean exterior of our car was reassuring but what truly dispelled my worries was the immaculate and pleasant smelling interior, thoughtfully stocked with water bottles. Vimu was an epitome of professionalism, he was always punctual and dedicated towards making our trip comfortable and enjoyable. His restaurant recommendations were spot on, they catered perfectly to our palate. What we appreciated the most about Vimu was his calm demeanor; he was always ready to engage in a conversation when initiated, but he was equally comfortable in his own company. He was exactly the kind of person we were hoping for. I wholeheartedly recommend the Sri Lanka Round Tour Company for their authentic and top-notch service, and insist on asking for Vimu as your driver. Thank you for everything, Vimu. Amazing experience - Lashan made the perfect trip for us. We visited lots of amazing places in Sri Lanka. He truly can make your trip one of a kind. As soon as we arrived at the airport our driver Lahiru gave us a warm welcome giving me flowers and a Hawaiian necklace to my boyfriend. Our van was equipped every day with water for us and Lahiru was very professional and helpful, always asking for our needs and trying to provide everything we needed. Ha was super friendly and always with a smile on his face. If we saw something along the way that we liked he would stop for us and let us check it out. This was truly the best trip of our life and we will come back for sure. Thank you Lashan and Lahiru for making our experience unforgettable!

Best decision we made! - We booked Dilshan (Dilly/Dili) for 5 days and thank god we did! We had so much fun from start to finish. His English is as wonderful as our Sinhala is appalling. His knowledge of the culture, geography, history and pride of his country is palpable and an absolute joy. Any request we had re food, detour, etc was accommodated or if not possible, we were told the details as to why not. Very important to appreciate in rainy season! We saw and experienced so much more than if we had tried to do everything independently. Dilshan maximised our time and improved our experience. We’re already itching to come back to Sri Lanka and Dilshan would be the first person we would contact!

Sri Lankan road trip with Dilshan de Silva - We spent 5 days with Dilshan (Dilly/Dili) De Silva, former sniper, part time songwriter and now driver and tour guide. From the first moment Dilshan was warm, friendly and mixed historical and geographical knowledge with charming and engaging anecdotes. No question was too stupid and every option available. His English is excellent, and he is always patient and attentive with a wicked sense of humour. Dilshan took us from Ambalangoda thru Galle to Ella before sharing with us a great little guest house in Kandy. Dilshan was known all over and always had an idea of where to go even when conditions threw us a last minute curve ball. Dilshan drove us safely in his Toyota Corolla which was always clean and comfortable for the three of us in air conditioned comfort.

A Trip to Remember with Our Friendly Tour Guide! - Lahiru is the best guide we could ask for. He showed us true Sri Lankan hospitality, is kind and authentic with a can-do attitude from day one. There was never any hard selling. He'll repeatedly tell us: "If you happy you buy, if not we go." He would do his best to fulfil the itinerary and our requests. To be honest, me and my friend being females and travelling to Sri Lanka for the first time, were worried about a "tour guide we found online." But we were proven wrong with Hikkaduwa's genuine and stellar service. At Kandy, we did not like a restaurant we were brought to. Despite it being late with little options, he quickly brought us to a local eatery. Lahiru is a true local who knows a lot about Sri Lanka from food to culture and is extremely resourceful. You can ask him for anything; and most of the times he'll be able to fulfil it. We are truly lucky to tour Sri Lanka with him. Service: When we landed at the airport, Lahiru's vibrant smile and positive energy greeted us. This was evident throughout our trip. He is attentive and would sense the tone of me and my friend's voice when we had worries or doubts, asking: "Mam are you okay?" He would also ask and check periodically if we are happy. We really like how genuine, kind and authentic he is. By the end of the trip, Lahiru has become more of a friend and brother to us, a gift from Sri Lanka! Special Request: As me and my friend emphasized local experience, he let us taste interesting local food straight from the village including Buffalo Milk Curd (we just saw a herd of buffaloes walk by 😉), Wood Apple, Hoppers and Kottu Roti. Conclusion: We love Sri Lanka. We will miss the genuine people with warm smiles and spirtuality in their hearts, with no desire to ask for anything from you in return of their kindness. We cannot wait to be back, and we cannot wait to use Hikkaduwa again when we do. Sri Lanka is breathtaking, warm-hearted and cultural, enough to pull at the heart strings of most, but adding on Hikkaduwa's service just makes Sri Lanka unforgettable.

Magical 7 days - The kindness, authenticity, and warmth of the Sri Lankan people are truly remarkable. Despite facing economic challenges, they maintain a pristine environment, prioritize the welfare of animals, and welcome visitors with open hearts. From uncovering hidden gems to introducing exotic Sri Lankan delicacies like buffalo pudding, teaching us the beautiful local language, introducing us to your family and whipping an amazing meal for us.
