- Krka National Park - After picking you up at one of our meeting points, our excursion to one of the most popular sites in Dalmatia begins by driving along the border between the coast and the hinterland. The stories about the area between Split and UNESCO protected town of Trogir, takes you on a journey through rich history that the region has for more than 3000 years.
Then it’s on to Krka National Park and Skradinski buk, one of the best known natural beauties of Croatia. Our professionally-guided tour includes a fascinating walk through authentically restored ensemble of small stone houses, workshops, exhibits and watermills which show how water used to make village life possible and sustainable centuries ago. Then we’ll begin our walk to enjoy the rich diversity of flora and fauna through a network of forest pathways as well as over wooden bridges.
- Roski Slap - We proceed to Roški slap, a beautiful, quiet, untouched nature area situated in the upper part of the Krka river canyon, perfect for swimming and relaxation. During the break you will have the opportunity for an optional lunch in a typical Dalmatian konoba (tavern) where you can taste traditional local food like prosciutto, cheese, hearty bread, wine and local fruits and vegetables.
- Visovac Monastery - Along the way you will enjoy the same kind of breathtaking views that professional photographers capture to illustrate Croatian tourist brochures —like the panorama of Visovac Island, home to a 15th century Franciscan monastery where monks still reside;
- Sibenik - Then we say good-bye to the park and continue our trip to the seaside city of Šibenik. Situated in picturesque bay where river of Krka empties, Šibenik is a city of rich history, culture and natural beauties. One of the most famous cultural-historical monuments in Šibenik that you can visit in your free time is St James Cathedral -a UNESCO listed unique architectural monument from 15th and 16th century build entirely from stone.
We return to Split along the beautiful coastal road, passing by picturesque villages, such as Primosten and Marina, and beautiful islands.
