  • Klis Fortress - On this tour we will visit Croatian Camelot, Fortress of Klis. It is one of the most important places in Croatian history. It was the seat of the Croatian kings since the 9th century, and place of many battles through the history. You’ll hear the stories about the Croatian heroes, Uskoks from Klis. The fortress was built on the cliff, 360 m above the sea, which offers the magnificent view of Solin’s harbour and the city of Split.
  • The Alka of Sinj Museum - After the story about the Uskoks the story leads us to the town of Sinj, the home of the brave knights where famous knight tournaments have been held every year since the beginning of the 18th century. You’ll find out more about it during our visit to the Museum of Alka in Sinj.
  • Church of Our Lady - Our visit ends with the visit to the Shrine of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj.

This includes an exploration of the Klis fortress and the Sinj township, comprising visits to the Alka Museum in Sinj and the Miraculous Madonna of Lady Sinj’s Sanctuary.

On this journey, we’ll be exploring the Croatian version of Camelot, the Klis Fortress. This site holds significant historical importance for Croatia. Since the 9th century, it has been the hub of Croatian monarchs and a battlefield for numerous battles. We’ll be sharing tales about Croatian heroes, the Klis Uskoks. The fortress, perched on a cliff 360 meters above sea level, offers a breathtaking view of Solin’s port and the city of Split.

After delving into the stories of the Uskoks, we move our focus to the township of Sinj, the dwelling of gallant knights who have been the stalwarts of renowned knight tournaments held annually since the early 18th century. We’ll unveil more about these competitions during our visit to the Alka Museum in Sinj. The tour draws to a close with a visit to the Sanctuary of the Miraculous Lady of Sinj.
