Family climb to Teide with guide (Miriam) - First of all, thank you to Miriam who was our guide both in the vehicle to the cable car and then on the climb on foot to the top of Teide, because she told us in detail about each place we saw, we made several stops to get used to the height, and then the climb along the spectacular path to the top. Very professional. I recommend this tour

Brilliant guide, Blanki, amazing views, wow - We were lucky, the cable car was cancelled all week, until our tour on Thursday. ( unfortunately this can happen anytime because of the wind for safety reasons) The bus was a bit late, but we didn't wonder about it as they needed to pick up people from a lot of places, and ours was the last pick up. So we started our tour fairly smoothly and shortly realised we have a brilliant, smiley and knowledgeable guide, Blanki and a very good, calm driver. We stopped at Vilaflor for a little coffee etc., then drove to the cable car base, then up to 3,555m. It was very well planned, everything went smoothly. Well, at 3,555m several people struggled, as it was too high for them and not enough oxygen for them, plus their body reacted badly for the air pressure differences. I was lucky, I had no any reaction, but my husband had some problems....... you never know until you are there. My advices: - Take warm clothing, it was 6 C up there. - Don't forget to put on your hat ( as I did), or put suncream on your face. - If you feel dizzy, sick or any pain ( headache, stomach problem....) which doesn't go away after a short time - take the next cable car back to the base, as your body still couldn't adjust the different circumstances up at 3,555 m. Personally we highly recommend this tour via Volcano Teide Experience.

You really are on top of the world - This trip was well worth doing - can’t believe I’ve been to Tenerife so many times before and not done it. Coach pick-up from hotel and then you go on an amazing drive up in the hills until you reach the cable car base station, stopping for a coffee/snack on the way. The views are awesome and you really can’t believe how high up you go until you are above the clouds! You are packed in on the cable car - only 2 seats available - but it only takes 8 minutes to top. There is a viewing platform and you can take a couple of different walkways to other viewing points, but beware this is across volcanic rock so is not flat and some rocks move so good sturdy walking shoes are essential. The air is thinner up there so you may not have the energy to walk far if you have breathing problems but can still view from the cable car station. There is a loo at the top but nothing else, the cafe is at the bottom after you get off cable car. If you want to climb to the crater edge you have to apply for a permit at least 3 months in advance, but it is a steep climb. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Photos will not do this justice- highly recommend a tour with Reuben & Julian - Reuben & Julian took us on the most beautiful tour of Mount Teide National Park. The tour was interesting, informative & the guide had a great sense of humour. It was too windy & icy for the cable car, but still absolutely loved our day. Photos will never do this beautiful place justice. Highly recommend this tour & will this company

Fantastic experience - Our guide Julian and driver Antonio took us through this day. We have a one-year-old child who was a bit fussy and my partner got motion sickness due to the long and winding roads up to Teide (he gets motion sickness easily). We were informed that the cable car was canceled (weather conditions) when we sat on the bus, but that there was a plan B. The cable car was a big reason we chose to go with this trip. Teide was a fantastic experience, but the layout of the trip itself could have been better, hence only a third. Each stop lasts 30-45 min, some stops were shorter to be able to take pictures. There were two restaurant stops/toilet visits. Another reason for only a third is that the guide gave information in three languages, for us it would be nicer with only one language and maybe that he had time to give more information about Tenerife and Tiede. Julian is a very skilled and funny guide ⭐ But an overall assessment is that you do not want to miss Tiede and we are glad that we went along, which is not entirely obvious if we had received information that the cable car was closed before we got on the bus.

Disappointed by tour operators - 2 star only for the tour guide Juan. He was very good and knowledgeable but the tour operator is cheat and deceiving. First they make you miss your breakfast and ask you to reach pick up point at 08:15 and then the bus will come at around 08:40. Secondly, once boarded you will get to know that the cable car is not operational , no prior notice or communication . Third, they will not give you refund that your deserve and they never gave you breakup of cost and now on their own discretion will process refund. DON’T BOOK if you value your time and money.

DECEPTION, NOT RECOMMENDED TO TAKE TICKETS IN ADVANCE. THEY CLOSE THE CABLE CAR AND KEEP HALF OF THE MONEY - BE CAREFUL WITH THE FINE PRINT. IF THEY CANCEL DUE TO BAD WEATHER THEY KEEP HALF THE MONEY We take out the VIP tour with pick-up, cable car and climb to the crater with a guide. The cable car was canceled and this experience could no longer be done and in exchange they offered a walk through the park that we did not want to do because it was not the plan. We paid 1200 euros for the tickets for my family. For reasons beyond our control, they canceled the paid excursion and gave us half of the money back!!! This company, which I believe is in addition to the Tenerife council, did not incur a single expense but even so, as they say, we were warned in the contract that we would lose half I advise you not to get your tickets in advance to avoid such a scam.
