Excellent Trip Definitely Recommend - A really good trip. Started with a pickup from our hotel, no need to walk elsewhere or take a taxi or bus. This did mean a lot of pickups, but to be honest it's a great way to see the resort area, we picked out the shopping malls for the next day so no issues for us. The coach was comfy and clean and driven steadily and expertly along the route. A short stop for the free toilets was included. The views were quite stunning and the leader was extremely knowledgeable and interesting and very good at hurding everyone to keep to time. The sunset was gorgeous, the food was excellent and the star gazing was just amazing. Some people have complained in previous reviews about await their turn to use one of the four telescopes, we found the wait was short and a non issue. One of the best ways to see the stars was to lie flat on the car park wall. The view was amazing. One point to keep in mind, they dont want you using phone cameras with bright displays to photo the stars, as it spoils the clarity for others. So if you want to take pictures you'll need a proper camera.

Marvelous experience!!! - Marvelous experience with Elena who was a fantastic guide. Her ability to mediate her knowledge and concern about us all made it a fantastic experience. She even noticed a couple of freeloaders in the dark! Really impressing!!! I must come back another part of the year to a different landscape!

See the surface of the moon with the telescope! - A nice stargazing trip, our guide Victor was very knowledgeable and it was amazing to see the surface of moon with the telescope! The Teide visit was less impressive with a few photo stops. Recommended if you like the stars!

Beautiful Teide by night - We went there my daughter and myself on February 24, 2026 it was a wonderful excursion and experience. We learned a lot about Teide volcano and the stars. I don't remember the name of the guide she was great a French almost perfect and very friendly I recommend the experience in addition the sunset was magical on the Teide and the correct meal. We met very friendly people and the driver whose first name I don't remember was nice and on top I still have stars full of eyes Nathalie

Unforgettable tour - This was a real wow experience from start to finish. Our tour guide was excellent, sharing fascinating information throughout the tour of Mount Teide and the incredible rock formations surrounding it. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking — and slightly spooky — watching the clouds form below us was unforgettable. The food and atmosphere in the restaurant were lovely and made the evening even more special. The true icing on the cake, however, was the stargazing experience. It was simply amazing.

Great experience! - It was a nice experience, convenient pick up from the north of the island, usually it is always in the south. The sunset was crazy, everything was so clear that you could see the other islands. I loved seeing the stars and planets with the telescope, moreover the explanation of the various stars was very interesting. Always useful to know how to find the North Star. I chose a day when the moon was not present to see as many stars as possible. If you want to see the milky way more pronounced better go in summer while if you want to see the moon with the telescope, you will not see the same stars. Experience still to do! For the price it was worth it because dinner is also included. The soup and dessert definitely better than chicken with vegetables, I appreciated that there were various drinks. The guide was nice and explained very well the various stars in the sky. I fully recommend!

Incredible volcanic landscape - Thanks to Jasper for guiding us on an amazing trip through this volcanic landscape with informative commentary about the history, vulcanology and astronomy. They had thought of everything: warm tea for the sunset, blankets for the stargazing and bottled water afterwards. Recommend 🙂

10/10 Amazing Experience! - We booked this as an excursion through Jet 2 Holidays and we had the most fantastic time. Since coming home from our holiday, we have not stopped telling anyone who will listen how fantastic this experience was! Our tour guide, Elena, was incredible. She was very entertaining and knowledgeable, and we loved listening to her educate us on the local geological formations, plants, animals, etc, as we travelled up the mountain. We were collected from outside our hotel at around 3pm, and didn't return until after midnight, so it is a very long day, but well worth it. There are some stops for toilets and to stretch your legs at some quaint little cafes/restaurants up in the mountains, but the highlight on the way up was the photo stops, where we stopped at key locations to take pictures and enjoy the magnificent views. By the time we reached our highest point, we were above the clouds and were able to watch the sunset change colours as it sank behind the mountains and the horizon. While we stopped, we were provided with a hot drink if we wanted it. After the sunset, we enjoyed a three-course meal, that was very enjoyable, if a little basic, before heading to our final destination. Here we were able to look through telescopes at planets, stars and a nebula. This is where the tour really shines, as the lack of light pollution up in the mountain showed us an array of stars which we had never seen before, even to the naked eye. It does get a little chilly at this part, but a jacket should suffice and they did offer us blankets. Overall, a 10/10 experience!

Teide by Night: An informative but mixed 9-hour excursion up Mount Teide - Headline: An informative but mixed 9-hour excursion up Mount Teide Rating: 3 out of 5 Stars The Experience: Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, and the coach driver did a brilliant job navigating the dark, twisting roads on the long journey back. Watching the sunset was a highlight, and spotting constellations and viewing three planets through the telescopes was interesting. Organisation: The itinerary itself was fine, but the included 3-course dinner was very basic and quite underwhelming. Additionally, the stargazing was conducted right by the roadside, meaning passing car headlights unfortunately detracted from the dark-sky experience. It would be much better if they found a spot further from the road. Top Tip: Proper winter attire is essential as it gets very cold at altitude (though they do provide blankets). Be sure to check the weather for clouds before you book, and try to avoid going during a full moon for the best visibility! Time Needed: Around 9 hours (starting late afternoon). Is it worth the money? It felt quite expensive for what was actually provided, particularly given the poor meal and the roadside viewing location.
