Our departure from Barcelona is scheduled for 6:30 a.m. which will allow us to reach Montserrat before 8 a.m., covering a distance of 60km. Depending on the time of the year, the sunrise might be visible during our journey. Subsequently, you’ll have ample time to explore the monastery and the black virgin at no cost. Our next stop is at 8:30 a.m., a brief 45-minute hike to the Sant Miquel cross offering picturesque views of the monastery and the surrounding landscape. At 9:15 a.m., we’ve scheduled a multimedia presentation detailing the history of the monastery and the mountain. Thereafter, until 11 a.m., you’re free to spend your time as you wish. Our journey back to Barcelona will commence at 11 a.m., likely to conclude by approximately 12:30 p.m.
