An excellent overview of Soweto - AB was an excellent guide — Soweto born and bred and knowledgeable about both the Townships and South Africa’s political history. The trip covered a lot and the Pieterson Museum (which I was not planning to visit) was a wow. Definitely recommended.

Amazing day in Joburg - Our guide Khutso, grew up and still resident in Soweto, knows perfectly every corner of the neighbourhood and will make you feel safe everywhere.  He also took us into a home to meet a family and see what it is like inside.  He is very friendly and likeable, but on top of all he is very well prepared and clear in its exposition. Out tour included also a leg in downtown and it was very interesting to learn about the history of the city and its people. Nice stop for a shopping in a local handicraft corner. Fully recommended! ;)
