Great activity with island history and a little beach time - We did this as a Disney cruise excursion with our kids (8 & 5) & had a blast. We enjoyed the museum and could’ve spent even longer there. The history is really interesting. Our tour guide did a great job of being our host. The trip to the beach had a great driver who told us all sorts of history about the island which I always love to hear. The pirate guide Goldilocks who led us through the last part of finding our treasure at a beach was awesome. My kids absolutely loved him. The beach is stunning.

Unforgettable Experience for Young Kids - My family w an 8yr old and 5yr old girls absolutely loved this adventure. From the scavenger hunt in the Pirate museum to finding the treasure on a local beach was the best memory my girls had of the trip. The owner did everything in his power to insure we had an amazing experience. I’d highly recommend it for anyone with young kids. They really do a great job!!

Fun Escape Room Style Excursion - Disability Accessible Info Herein - This company is the best! We were looking for something that would interest two tweens & be wheelchair friendly. I called The Tropical Treasure Hunt Co & Anthony, the owner, worked so hard to make this happen for us. They have a wheelchair accessible van they contract with when needed, so he arranged that & then helped me set it up through the cruise line we were with (Disney). The only part that wasn’t accessible was the walk out to where the treasure was buried. But all of the puzzle solving stuff at the museum was so much fun (like an escape room) & the food area at the beach was accessible, so I waited there while the kids went & dug up the treasure. The actors were so friendly & as a pirate nerd, I enjoyed the heck outta this. So did the kids! The “pirate treasure” we dug up was for little kids, but my tweens didn’t mind because the fun was solving the puzzles. If you’re in a wheelchair & you don’t mind sitting out the actual digging of the treasure, this is a lot of fun! I will say, if you use a walker/cane or just have trouble walking distances but do *not* use a wheelchair, there is a good 5-7 minute walk from port (if you’re coming from port) to the museum, then walking around at the museum, (then a shuttle ride to the beach), then more walking along the beach…so maybe not for mobility impaired walkers. If you have accessibility questions, call Anthony at The Tropical Treasure Hunt Co — he’s a treasure himself!

Great activity for kids! - When trying to figure out what to do with our ten year old, this popped up. Had a great time trying to figure out the puzzles in order to find the buried treasure, and the ten year old had an awesome time! Our guide, Shard, was wonderful! He was very friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the island (and even gave us some hints when we needed it!). Highly recommend if you’re looking for something to do with the kids that is out of the ordinary!

Fun treasure hunt in St. Thomas! - My wife, my two kids (14 and 18) and I did this treasure hunt during a cruise. We really enjoyed this "escape room" type activity. The staff was friendly and everybody in our party had a perfect day in St-Thomas. The hunt starts in the Pirates' museum where we collect clues and solve puzzles, and finishes on a beautiful beach where we have to dig up a treasure chest, helped by two friendly pirates, all dressed-up. We really had a jolly good time! The only minor drawback was that, given the limited of teams allowed, we were paired with a couple. They were really nice people but I feel that they would have prefer to do the hunt by themselves and so do we. But other then that, it was a delightful day!

Pirates Adventure - Anthony was very accommodating, even planned to meet us early to mesh with our schedule. The whole adventure was exciting! Anthony gave a detailed history lesson about pirates of the time and their hidden treasures. Would definitely recommend! It's clear Anthony loves what he does and takes great pride in his business, very inspiring.

Treasure hunt - Great time. We went as an excursion from the Disney cruise. We were greeted off the ship by the owner of the company and split up into teams (family stayed together). There were lots of good hints and clues to find and all of the people involved were very pleasant. It all wrapped up with a treasure chest on the beach that we had to dig up and a great burger at the beach shop. Highly suggest doing this tour. Plus, it didn’t have to leave the ship super early so we had time to get a good breakfast onboard.
