Wild Kiwi Encounter: Set off on an unforgettable adventure into the untamed beauty of Rakiura Stewart Island as day fades into night, in pursuit of the elusive Southern brown kiwi (tokoeka). Start with a picturesque pre-sunset cruise around nearby islands, where you can spot wildlife such as albatross, penguins, tītī (mutton bird), and fur seals. Following an introduction to kiwi behavior and conservation, arrive at Little Glory Cove for a guided evening walk through coastal forest and along a secluded beach, where expert guides enhance your chances of witnessing kiwi in their natural habitat.

Wild Kiwi & Culture Encounter: Discover Oneke (“The Neck”), a coastal landscape rich in cultural significance. Listen to tales of Māori and European history before embarking on a night-time kiwi search. After your walk, enjoy a warm drink in the traditional whare before cruising back to Oban under the starry sky.
