Beautiful ride - The scenery was spectacular, and our guide was down to earth, and full of good jokes. The horses were well maintained and lovely to ride.

Thunderback ride a highlight! You gotta do it! - We had an amazing experience yesterday on the Thunderback ride! Our guide, Jeff, was awesome! He had a lot of knowledge to share! There were only 3 of us on the ride and he was very relaxed and flexible and worked at our skill level, willing to stop as necessary. The views were breathtaking. I highly recommend the 4 hour trail! The panoramic views were all worth it! He even took photos along the way and airdropped them to us at the end!

Wonderful Bryce Trail - My husband wanted to take the horse tour even though we were in our senior years. It was really an awesome experience. Our guide Carter was very patient with us and watched us very carefully. He was so personable with such a pleasing personality. Tommy was also very helpful in getting us on and off the horses. Loved it!

Giddy Up - We wanted a true horseback experience and this did not disappoint. Tyre was our guide and made sure everyone was safe, comfortable (as comfortable as one can be on the back of a horse), and having fun. We highly recommend him. The trail provided amazing views and Tyre made sure everyone got all the photos that would be desired on this particular trip. Fair warning to other city folk, the 4 hour ride may test the limitations of what your rear end can handle. However, if a bit of discomfort doesn’t faze you, then giddy up.

Great horseback ride! - Enjoyed the Thunder Mountain 4 hour ride. Beautiful ride and the horses were well kept and performed great. All employees were friendly, but our guide, Andun, went above and beyond as he guided us through the terrain. He has a great personality, is very friendly, and even offered to take pictures throughout the ride and AirDrop them to me afterwards so we had plenty of photos to remember the ride. He then recommended Ebenezer’s Barn & Grill for some great entertainment and dinner. Would absolutely enjoy a ride from this company again.

Ruby's Inn Thunder Mountain horseback ride - The scenery is some of the most fabulous I have ever seen. The ride is not listed for beginners. 4 hours on Thunder Mountain. Our guide was Andun Pratt. Great guy, easy manner. If you don't like heights you may not want to do this ride. My son and I were the only ones on the ride. Absolutely fantastic and Andun made it even better!!

A Must Ride! - Our group are experienced trail riders and we thoroughly enjoyed our rides through the beautiful scenery of Thunder Mountain and the canyon. We were shuttled from the Inn to the trail heads that were located several miles away. The horses were well trained (they neck reined, backed, worked off of leg pressure), and in good shape. We really appreciated being able to ride nice mounts. Our guide, for both rides, was Kevin Magee. Kevin was informative, very helpful and funny! He was the 'icing on the cake'! We would highly recommend Ruby's Horseback Adventures.

Best trail ride of our lives! - On Wed May 5th my wife and I took the 4 hr Thunder Mtn horseback trail ride. It was fantastic, thanks to our wrangler, Mariah, and Ruby's and her management of our group, and the horses we rode. We own our own horses, that we used to trail ride throughout Oregon. But we have not ridden since I had my knee replaced two years ago, and ran into complications. We really looked forward to this trip, and were so satisfied at the care that Ruby's took to make this successful for all of us. Mariah did a great job matching us up with our horses. I drew 'Shorty" ( over 16 hands?), I am about 6'3" so he was judged to be perfect for me. He was! And I really don't like tall horses. Our group was composed of seasoned riders, and one person who had limited experienced; but who had mountain biked the trail a few days prior. Each horse in our group was sure footed…..someone did a great job picking out these horses. The saddles were deep, and seemed to fit all of us quite well. The saddle bags were perfect for our water and excess clothing. We liked the fact that the group was purposely small, and the pace that Mariah kept us on was perfect. I really enjoyed the route that was picked; and sought it out since it was a trail that did not require a lot of riding down hills; which could have placed an unwelcome demand on my 74 year old knees and legs, that had not been in a saddle for quite a while. I don't like heights, but our horses knew the route, and I felt safe. And Mariah did a great job taking pics and sharing them with us afterwards; we had our hands on those reins making sure we had control of our horses on those ridge tops! Please thank Mariah, her husband Chance, and the people that direct the riding program. This ride was the hi-lite of our two week trip to the Utah parks, and all because of the wonderful people at Ruby's!
