Amazing - The guides were amazing. Very knowledgeable, personable, and overall made the experience worth it. Even though there was cloud cover at the beginning they did their best to point out everything from what constellations were visible to deep space objects.

The hosts were super... - The hosts were super knowledgeable and we learned so much about the planets and how astronomers think. The hike was mellow and the scenery was stunning. We really needed this mellow, educational activity after all of the strenuous hiking and activities. The weather didn’t pan out - but we had an amazing time. We never would have gone to explore that part of Zion on our own and all of the knowledge sharing made it worth it to come out. Their equipment is top notch and they are great people doing a really great thing. Pluto for life.

Stargazing Adventure - Everyone should do this Dark Sky Stargazing event. You learn to appreciate that there is more than just our daily lives to think about and that there is something bigger than each of us

Once in a Lifetime Experience - First of all I want to say my husband and I are still in awe. We felt like we were in a dream looking at these stars. We are from Miami so the visibility in our night sky is absolutely nothing compared to getting out here in Utah. We learned so much from Matthias and Kelly. I felt like we were taking a crash course in astronomy. With a VERY strong laser they were able to point out constellations and stars as well as give us the history and connections between them. We were really in awe the whole time it was like going to the planetarium as a kid but this was in real life. The logistics are very well organized, you meet at a parking lot and then they walk you down to an area with big beanbag like beds to lay down on and blankets and warm tea/hot chocolate/coffee. It is cold! Wear something appropriate! They also set up various telescopes to see further nebulas. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Thank you!

See planets, stars, constellations, nebular and galaxies guided by experts. - A great evening with very knowledgeable presenters guiding us through the constellations and visible planets. The viewing is done from very comfortable bean bag mattresses and guided by a laser pointer. Through binoculars (we brought our own but there were enough of thiers for everyone) you will see star clusters, nebulas and the planets. You can even see a few of Jupiter's moons. They had 2 high powered optical telescope and 3 photo/Electronic telescopes. The optical scopes showed the crab nebular and jupiter with 5 moons amongst other things. The photo/Electronic scopes then provide significantly sharper and more vivid pictures of the Nebulars and several galacies. What a treat.

Back to basics, the universe!!! - Very high tech equipment, friendly and knowledgable staff. Perfect location, you forget just how beautiful and huge the sky and universe are. I actually saw Saturn and its rings!! The one thing that sticks with me was the comment that 80% of people have never seen the Milky Way. I hadn’t for many many years and it is spectacular!! An amazing night and experience! The best time! So very glad I did this, didn’t know and had foregotten what I was missing, highly recommend this experience!

Her knowledge was incredible and everything explained so well. Great equipment and comfortable set up. Looking forward to seeing the photos they took which are part of the package.

Extremely underwhelming and misrepresented the experience - Unfortunately this was just not close to being worth it for the high price. This is a tough one to write since they were very nice - However, this was such an incredibly underwhelming experience for the 190/person price tag that I felt the need to warn others about it (as most people may just keep their thoughts to themselves if they have a negative experience). To start off, it was close to being a full moon, and yet I saw they were still offering the experience this past Wednesday. I thus called them to check in about whether they thought it would affect the experience. The person I spoke to essentially said it would have a very small affect, and that the outer contours of the milky way would even still be visible. The gist of our conversation was that it would still be great viewing and a great experience and I shouldn't worry. Thus I booked it for my girlfriend and I. To our surprise, however, the night sky viewing experience was completely corrupted by the moon. I live in Boston and have better night sky viewing in my backyard. I even think our guide was not prepared for the brightness, as the laser pointer she was using for half of the time was no match for the moon and was barely visible to most of the group. Thus for a good portion of the time many did not know what she was pointing at. Additionally the Milky Way was not all visible (contrary to what was said on the phone). So with the night sky essentially a bust, I would have still hoped that the informational aspect would have been enlightening, but frankly that was underwhelming as well. Our guide fixated on the size of different things we were talking about. While of course some information about the relative size of things is important, it felt like half of the whole tour was the guide asking "if we say the sun is the size of a softball, what is the size of X?" It became tedious. The main issue, however, was that the moon was way too bright to have a positive viewing experience. They should not run the tour around the full moon (or they should heavily discount the price) -  I felt we were lied to on the phone. If this was a $50/person experience, I'd still write it off as not worth it and a waste but I would not have felt the need to write this review. At $190/person, both my girlfriend and I were completely shocked. They need to be more honest about what the experience is.
