A Morning with Marjory - We spent the morning with Marjory. She picked us up at our KOA campground and headed into Monument Vally. Seeing this astonishing place at sunrise is indescribable. Pictures don’t do it justice, you just have to be there. Having a Navajo guide who can explain what you are seeing, as well as speak to the history and culture of the valley is invaluable. We can recommend Monument Valley Triable Tours, and only hope that you are fortunate enough to have Marjory as your guide.

A very enriching and very well guided experience. - We were booked for a day tour but it was cancelled because of bad weather and we were offered to go on the sunrise tour the following morning. It was our first visit to Monument Valley and it was a unique experience. Landscapes of extraordinary and breathtaking beauty. A big thank you to our guide Cheryl for enhancing the tour by telling us about Navajo culture and its traditions. She even did us the honor of singing. It was a very special moment. She was friendly and funny, answered all our questions and taught us some Navajo words. She also is a very good driver.

Breathtaking Monument Valley - Beautiful, spiritual place!!! The sunrise tour is well worth rising early for! Our tour guide shared her culture with us and welcomed the sunrise with us in her own Navajo way.

Larry is the best. - Larry, was an amazing tour leader. His soft demeanor and insightful stories made the tour so worthwhile. We had a great group, people from all over the world. Larry’s telling of creation from the standpoint of the Navajo nations was inspiring.

Thanks Marjorie for a beautiful tour! - Marjorie was our guide. Since it would be a lot colder than expected, she brought not an open truck but a closed van with heating 😁. Very considered of her! The tour she did with us was full of foto opportunities and stories. We also went into the back country where you aren’t allowed without a guide. The tour exceeded our expectations!

Awesome Sunrise Tour - Exceeded Expectations - Tribal Tours called the afternoon before our tour to confirm timings and pick up arrangements. We had a great experience with Jameson. He collected us right on time from the KOA Campsite. There was some cloud cover initially, and he checked to ensure that we were likely to get a clear sunrise - he would have offered a later tour or a refund if not; a nice touch we thought. The landscape was spectacular and we lucked out with a great sunrise. What was also nice is that Jameson took the time to explain Navajo culture and customs, as well as what life is like locally. The whole tour exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended.

A Monumental experience! - I highly recommend doing a guided tour through monument valley. Our guide was Cheryl, very pleasant and knowledgeable of the landscape, Navajo traditions the importance of family and utilizing the land and animals, nothing goes to waste. The road is unpaved and bumpy (this reason alone is worth going on a guided tour), Cheryl took us to very interesting points in the valley. The sunrise tour was wonderful!
